As @T-REX pointed out, in yesterday's Thread, This is an un-Lucky number, but for who!?, NOT the Rams!
And today is FRIDAY!!
Today thread is going to be lengthy, Photo wise, and stat wise! You'll see why! I hope you enjoy it!!

I'll start with, Our Great FB Paul 'Tank' Younger: (1949-57) I know we touched on him at #35, But he deserves a second Look!

Tank_Younger1.jpg

Tank2.jpg

He started as #13 as a Rookie, then switched to #11 ..
Tank6.jpg
..I think he switched to #35 So Van Brocklin could have #11, IDK for sure!

Tank5.jpg
In his 9 seasons he played in 100 games, and this I find "Funny" he only had 8 'Starts!'. We did have a few GREATS on the team in those days!!
Any He rushed 682 times for 3296 Yds. and 31 TD's an aver. of 4.8 w/ a long of 75 Yds.
He also had 84 receptions for 979 Yds. and 1 TD an aver. of 11.7 w/ a long of 54 Yds.
In 1954 He was # 1 in YPA Rushing w/ a whopping 6.7 average!

Tank3.jpg
He played in 5 Playoff games.

Younger,Tank4.jpg

He was a 5 time Pro Bowler and named All Pro in 1951.

NEXT UP, Punter Jon Kilgore: (1965-67)

Kilgore1.jpg
He did spend 3 years on the Team, and I wish I could have found a better photo!!
He had 163 Punts for 6908 Yds. w/a long of 68 an aver. of 42.4 and he only had 2 punts ever blocked!

NEXT UP, QB Chris Miller: (1994-95)

Miller1.jpg

He also wore #12. In his 26 games w/ the Rams he had 23 starts. He had a record of 9-14-0
Miller2.jpg

Passing he went 405 of 722 for 4727 Yds. and 34 TD's w/ 29 Int's and he was sacked 59 Times.
Miller3.jpg

He also rushed 42 times for 167 Yds. a 4.0 aver. w/ a long of 16 Yds.
Miller4.jpg

" I really do Like this Uniform Look!!" Throw Back Uni anyone!?!

NEXT UP, QB Steve Bono: (1998)
I ONLY through him in here because you need to remember, just what we had " Pre-Warner"!

Bono1.jpg
In his 6 games with the team he had 2 Starts, a record of 0-2-0.
Passing he went 69 of 136 for 807 Yds. and 5 TD's w/ 4 Int's and he was sacked 6 times.

Bono2.jpg

I would have washed my hand after this hand shake!!

OK! Now the Man you've been waiting for, And the real LENGTHY part of this Thread!! "#13!" QB Kurt Warner: (1998-2003) His 1st year he wore #10.
ALERT!/WARNING! The following stats are ONLY his stats with the Rams, NOT his career Totals!!

One Last Man Today. NEXT UP, WR Chris Givens: ( 2012-present) I know, he's switched to #19 this year!

I'll post the two most significant passes in (modern day era) RAMS history both by the man the legend #13 Kurt Warner.

The first IMO the most clutch throw in RAMS history given the circumstance at that time. Without it there may never have been a trip to Super Bowl 34.
UGb5wK.gif

The second was pure guts football, standing in the pocket knowing your about to get crushed and get off a throw that would be the Super Bowl winner.

You know, if you think about it, Kurt Warner was only good for about 6 years of his career. They were dream seasons, but it makes you wonder if he really deserves the HOF. I know, I know. He was bagging groceries. But he doesn't exactly have the numbers of a HOF QB.

Keep in mind the stats I quoted are only his stats with the Rams!
You can pretty much double them, when you add in his stats with the Card's and Giant's!
I think what he did in a short span, makes him H of F material!

You make a good point, @Legatron4, but Bledsoe didn't have 4 Probowls, 4 MVP's, 3 Superbowls, or any NFL Championships either. Warner didn't have a long enough career to compile gaudy stats. He was more of the shooting star variety. He started late and spent the middle part of his career as a backup too. The way he was able to come back from being broken just about everywhere to mentoring Manning and then earning the starting job in AZ is damn admirable.

How many #'s did Tank Younger have?

Now I see why Chris Givens changed his number....#19 is my lucky number...and the jersey I wore to Oxnard..Anybody see me?

When is Kurt's jersey being retired?

Yes, he is HOF worthy....barely...so he'll wait much longer than Pace....should go in with Bruce/Holt/Ellard...Make it a Rams weekend...Maybe 3 more years due to backlog at WR....

Ken Clark - Punter

Clark played in the CFL from 1975-1978 and 1980-1987, but in 1979, Clark joined the Los Angeles Rams.
Ken Clark usually punted better than 40 yards and had a hang time of 4.5 seconds.
images

And he played in Super Bowl XIV!

Clark has won multiple All-star honors and awards in the CFL, but his biggest accomplishment is being a Ram!
