Well .. as usual, I have my picks Narrowed down to 4 with 3 people ahead of me! And I'm unsure which way to go! Maybe it will be desided for me!!

He was my 2nd pick after Brian Allen. I went for the longer arms and cleaner injury history but I like Clark a lot too. Good pick, I honestly think you got a steal.

I liked Allen a lot too. Wanted him till you grabbed him. Actually was hoping to grab both Allen and Clark this round, double down on some big cb's lol. Hope you are are right on him.

Pumphrey doesn't have great size at 5-9, 179, but he still has a lot to offer. With Matt Forte and Bilal Powell holding most of the running load, Pumphrey figures to come in as a change of pace/ passing downs back. His speed and receiving ability make him a matchup nightmare for linebackers and even gives him the capacity to line up in the slot. He could even add production on PR/KR duties.

As the all-time FBS rushing leader who broke most of Marshall Faulk's records at San Diego State, Pumphrey has the production value.

Before the mock draft the GM had to prioritize the whiners needs. DE, LB, CB‘s all require strengthening on the defensive side of the ball.

If you have a look at the free agency acquisitions from the whiners -- 3xLB, 3xWR. Malcolm Smith, Brock Coyle and Dekoda Watson all picked up at LB in FA -- not going to be a huge problem for many teams IMO. Tim Williams is a huge pick up at OLB and should make an immediate impact.

Solomon Thomas I believe had to be picked up at pick 2 provides much needed aggression and threat at DE.

I left CB until last as with this mock draft CB’s went very early!! My view is CB’s can be made – they are after all failed WR’s -- -- if coached well and they have brains and the skill set - Jeremy Cutrer & Xavier Coleman should be able to provide some cover. Could have chosen other more talented CB's but went for character ahead of raw talent.

Offensively -- there is a massive hole at QB – the acquisition of Hoyer should help things but certainly needs some quality pressure placed on him and a reserve should he go down. Traded out two picks 146 & 198 for Brock Osweiler QB who would add some strength to the QB division and would possibly replace Hoyer as the starter.

Bolstered up the O-Line with Julie’N Davenport OT & some size with Damien Mama OG.

Brought in some WR strength with Taywan Taylor and KD Cannon. Cannon may have been a bit of a reach but I liked him on film.Taywan Taylor was a bargain at 143 IMO.


This should enable my beloved whiners to beat the Rams twice again next season – can’t believe I just wrote that..
