Do we go with the back ups? Worse we will be is 8 and 8. May be see what's under the hood so to speak. Or does coach stay with the first unit and try and make a closing statement for next year. We open the new stadium next year and there is a bad taste in my mouth..... Need to rinse and start over? Tough to be where we always seem to be after two fun years. Go Rams.

Judging by the post game presser, I’d say we play the starters to finish with a winning record. Seems like that’s McVay’s next best thing to have the team accomplish. I don’t agree with it, I’d like to see our backups get some reps but I can see why a win would be good for team morale.

Well, IMO, we should sprinkle in some defensive players like Okoronkwo & Howard for example and maybe some David Long, Jr. On offense was hoping to see more of Henderson, but he got hurt against the 49ers (ankle) so we shall see if he can recover and play more of a significant role vs the Cardinals.

A loss will give the Rams a higher spot in the draft. Thats not a bad thing.

Yep, play to win.
I wouldn't take the Cardinals lightly.
1-1 with the seahawks with the first very close.
Same with this last 49ers game.
You don't want to drop a game against the cardinals.
The division will be hotly contested next year, so let's finish strong and ply the best players we have.

Yeah McVay isn't effin around. He is going to play the guys who give him the best chance to win.

That might mean we see a guy or two get sat on the pine. As it should. Play the guys who deserve it, this isn't preseason.

This won’t happen I’m sure.
Not gonna have Whit sit in likely his last game.
But, wouldn’t mind seeing what the youngsters can do since the OL is nothing but question marks.
I expect all the starters to play and the Rams to win.
I also expect Donald, Fowler and Matthews to be hell bent on collection sacks.

If I’m a player and my coach sits me to “see what we have” I’m not going to be happy. 8-8 football is Jeff Fisher football. We play to win. If backups deserved to be starters, they’d be starters.
