A win with everyone healthy is one thing.

A win with the injuries is a show of depth and completeness. Very excited for Sunday.

I saw our Indiana Pacers go to game seven of the Finals against teams that everyone said was better than them. And we would have won if the tragedy didn't happen with Hali.

Our team is playing on another level right now, just like the Pacers were. Very similar vibes. Team ball. I'm not scared of anyone right now.

The Rams have beaten the Titans and Texans and everyone wants to crown them and complain that the teams we've beaten are bad.

Colts are going to shut some people up this weekend.

I picked Indy to lose but I’m warming up. Jonathan Taylor will be the best player on the field Sunday. Shane probably has some Tyler Warren / Josh Downs / Ashton Dulin tricks we haven’t seen yet.

I think we’ll keep pace. If Ward can keep Puka reasonable and we protect the ball? Might be down to who has it last.

Priority should be shutting down Davante. I don't think any team right now is keeping Puka below 110 yards and 8 receptions.

As someone whose NFC team is the New York Giants (Manhattan girl by birth, Jersey Girl by the grace of God), I never in my life thought I would say that Daniel Jones is a damn good quarterback. I'm happy he finally found his football home.

Now, one man alone does not comprise a team, obviously. Danny Dimes has a consistently good supporting cast, and that goes an incredibly long way. I suggest to everyone here, though, that what's driving Jones is not just this need to prove himself, but to play so impressively that other teams stand up, take notice, and say "Wow, we didn't think he could do that!"

So yes, I am feeling good about Sunday's game. I believe the pleasant surprises will continue for us

I feel good about the offense. Jones is the motor that keeps the ship running and both he and Taylor are fine.

The defense on the other hand? Swiss cheese. We are about to get our asses ate up so hard.

I think it’s gonna be one of those games that’s determined by whoever has the ball last

This is a test. If we can't beat them with some players down, we aren't as complete as we need to be. If we win, it'll be telling how good we actually are. I'm excited to see it and hopeful we're locked in and can still win with depth pieces.

I feel pretty good about getting a W. The public is all over the rams. I think we jump out to a quick lead and the rams get back in the game with a late drive but the defense holds at the end of the game. 31-24 colts

Not Really. Our Secondary is thin, and our O-line might be a problem. Jones has played great with a good O-line, I wonder if he looks like the Giants Jones without a sturdy O-line? Everyone was saying he was the way he was in NY because they didn't have a O-line, right? JT will have to have another 150+ yd game for us to have a chance, but a weak secondary will make it easier for the Rams to score faster. Then we will be forced to throw to survive. Then it will get ugly.

The Rams had 2 kicks blocked, and they’re going to be hungry. Their DL and OL can be nasty.

Its on the road and we might not have AP and Kenny Moore.

Undoubtedly facing the best QB so far this season.

I know the D played a lot of soft coverage today because of the score. We really need Kenny back for this game.

I think we will really miss Kenny and Ward if they cant make it. Losing Pierce would suck, he is really rounding out as an all around WR this year, but we are deep at the position.

If we don't have Kenny or Ward, I think we can't keep pace with them unfortunately.

We'll see what this D (pass rush specifically) is made of facing a SB winning QB.

But let's keep this bad boy rolling. 34-30 Good Guys...

Colts 29
rams 17

DJ 300+ yards 3 TD
JT 100+ yards

We're gonna be playing a good team, on the road, three time zones away. With possibly 1 or 2 important DB's tied behind our backs.

I expect us to play well, but eventually get beat by a better team at home.

Colts 27

I don’t like this matchup for the Colts, I like it even less with how the Rams lost today. I think this could be the “Colts come back to earth” game. It’s one game and I am not going to lose my mind if that happens. Still with the way the Colts have played this year you can’t rule them out and I would love to be wrong.

I agree that if we had lost to the Eagles the Rams may have looked past the Colts a bit. But they're pissed. And McVay teams usually bounce back hard.

Again though I'll say I think the Colts are a good team. Their offense has been building with a shitty QB and now that they got a reasonable QB in there it's showing its quality. This should have a playoff feel to it.

I have heard their defense is trash? If so, they are in trouble

Agree 100%.
This is not just a get well game for the Rams—they’re gonna have to earn it. They need to come out angry and focused.

This game is a huge test for BOTH teams, IMO.

The colts, barring any more serious injury setbacks, are gonna be in the playoffs. Their division is shit. The colts have played some solid football but eventually they will have to beat good teams with winning records to go anywhere. Knocking off a contender would be a big deal for the colts.

The Rams are gonna be tested by an up and coming team with confidence who is unfamiliar. That’s a dangerous situation. If the Rams show their pedigree, no problem. If Stafford is off like last game, and the dam breaks on that IOL, this game will be a dogfight.

The Rams can accomplish two things today:
1) reiterate they are indeed legit contenders
2) show the colts they are not ready yet

Sounds like the Colts fans are level headed reasonable people, which is refreshing given the SEA, SF and Philly fans.
That’s what I gathered too. They seem like a hopeful fan base and deservedly so. They haven’t had success in a very long time.

How was Stafford "off like last game?" He put the Rams in a position to win with a FG with time running out. Mind you, against a favored home team...

Dude - really!! Sounds like the 2nd is a little bit of BS!!! Anytime you go on The road in The NFL it isn’t suppose to be easy.

SO I don’t get that part of it it especially if your playing a playoff team, which The Rams are suppose to be.

If The Rams lose, there putting themselves in a uptown battle. If you look at last season you’d realize that.

Like the poster above about certain division fans. They have that right to be some what excited.

The Rams winning does show they are legit & this NFC West isn’t going to be easy to win.

The niners for example have had serious injury problems, which I wonder if that doesn’t hurt them as much as I think it will.Talk about lucky? Then again they have shown character

I’m still numb about last week.My GF in away sort of kinked The Rams.I’m usually right about The Rams, last week see left at half time to run earns.I was up dancing in her face.Told her to put on her jersey in a mocking way, when she came back I had today The Rams lost & had to take off my Rams gear.Sucked !!!

Hate to think what I’m thinking could happen & staying focused on how good The Rams are. They don’t need to prove it to any other team than themselves.Don’t think I’ll even watch The game live.
Remember where I was last time The Rams played the Colts &wat he’d the 1st half &!they were up by 20-ZERO & had to win in OT???

Anyway enjoy the game, but IMO The Rams need to prove to The RAMS FANS they can DOMINATE at Home when they need to.It has nothing to do with The Colts. It’s a message to NFL TEAMS they are a contender.

A Superbowl team.He did it twice BTW,and play calling had something to do with it as well.

He either missed open receivers or threw pure trash passes on at least 5 occassions from what I watched. His worst performance in some time, especially late. Does 6 field goal attempts remind you now of those missed 3rd down conversions?

I also remember our Oline wasn't holding up well against a Dline that won the Super Bowl. No matter. Did Stafford lead the Rams down the field and put the team in a position to win the game with only seconds left? Did our FG kicker get blocked from ONLY 41 yards out? Two in row, actually? Special teams let us down in the end, not Stafford.

I'm pretty sure these comments were cherry picked. I've been watching various Colts vs Rams preview videos on YouTube and they're convinced they're going to win. I'm not saying they're as obnoxious as other teams fans but they might be a little delusional.

Texans fans were much more cocky than Colts fans. Colts fans are hopeful. As any 3-0 team should be. But they're also very cautiously optimistic. They aren't sure if the 3 wins are the real deal or not. The Rams need to keep the pedal to the metal if they get a lead. I thought they let up with a big lead last week. Something they tend to do. Still should have won though. Eagles know they got away with one.

Plenty Rams fans just as obnoxious. These things always go like that. Look at every score prediction thread we've ever done here as a close by example.

Their fan base is a bit like ours in that it is made up of fans supporting their local team and long time fans.
These fanbases are generally rational unlike those no nothing boisterous bandwagoning fanbases of some other teams

Both can be true. Stafford was definitely off for big parts of the game and he also put us into position to win at the end. If not for some of those missed passes, it doesn’t come down to a potential game winning FG.

You can go through both threads that I posted links to. I just went through the first 10 or so comments and posted the ones that didn’t have replies.
