Injuries happen throughout the season. We’ve been fortunate to have blinders through the first 3/4 of the season to not believe they would impact our Rams, which they didn’t,

Should injuries happen down the stretch, I felt the following players had good games and will be threats despite injuries to our starters:

1. Xavier Smith - He was consistently getting open. Anyone not named Nacua will need to get separation. He caught my eye tonight and in the return game.

2. McClendon - I had my doubts about him, but he had another solid game. Didn’t hear him get mentioned once and rarely saw pressure from the right side of the line.

3. Witherspoon - His snaps were limited, and didn’t give up much ground, But good to see, hopefully he’s out of the doghouse and we’ll either have solid backups between him or DWill.

We were going to be a wildcard team either way. We won't see Bijan again. The OL and Davante at full health is unstoppable.

Need the offense to carry the day in the playoffs and let the defense tee off.

We're fine this game changes nothing. We can beat or lose to anyone, let's get hot and take it

Agreed. The Rams might want to be aggressive and take the ball first to start the game. You kick off and go down 7-0 then that deferring is useless in my opinion. Not to mention we gifted them a defensive TD after that and now we're down 14-0. To the Rams credit they fought back to tie the game and if the ref calls PI against the player guarding Tutu in the last minute, we might have won or tied the game and go to OT.

Hopefully these last two games have convinced them that the defense needs some tweaks. Need to juice up the pass rush somehow, while adjusting coverage schemes so QBs have to hold the ball a tick longer.

I must be missing something. if we win and they lose next week, we have the same record. And they own all the tie breakers?

Head to head is a tie. If the whiners lose, the NFC West record is a tie (4-2). The next tie breaker is common opponents which the Rams win.

We get to see Jarquez Hunter and more Shaun Dolac next week. I hope.

Ahkello Witherspoon has another week to round into form for the playoffs.

Adams, Lake, Higbee and Havenstein should be coming back. If the latter were available last night, methinks McClendon would have eventually flipped over to LT and replaced Humphries.

This team really has 2000 GSOT vibes. When the offense gets it going they're virtually impossible to stop
The only way to stop them is by letting them stop themself

Looking at it the next day now, I think the 5th seed is way more important to us fans than it is to McVay and the Rams. They're in the playoffs. They can't win the division. They'd rather stay healthy and get healthy. The Falcons and Raheem Morris on the other hand, wanted this game bad.

And that's what we saw on the field. Basically.

Hopefully?

What are the official injury status' of Alaric Jackson and Kevin Dotson? Key to the season. I know Davante is back full go for Playoffs.
