Careful now.

I’m not asking for ‘best’ player. That would be AD.

I’m not asking for MVP player. That would be Stafford.

I’m asking for your personal choice for Ram player you most love rooting for. It’s tough, I know.

On O I have to say Cooper Kupp. Productive, clutch, uncoverable, classy, great teammate. I could go on and on…

On D I might surprise you. I think I’m gonna select Greg Gaines with Nick Scott close behind. I love playmaking overachievers and both these guys have greatly exceeded my expectations.

If forced to choose just one player I most love to root for it would have to be Cooper Kupp. I have to strain to find even a hint of a fault with him as either a player or as a person. VERY easy guy to root for.

How about you? Who is your personal favorite to root for?

Nick Scott was my initial instinct when reading the question and your qualifier. Hard not to root for a guy who got drafted as a special teams player and, through working his ass off, plays not just a role but a pretty key one in winning a Superbowl.

Otherwise, any returner who doesn't suck usually gets my support.

Cooper Kupp. I was a Wide out in High School, a bit of an overachiever. Finally got my chance on the field..... (other than throwing some of the most viscous crackbacks you'd ever seen. Came through w/ flying colors. Position coach said they were "surprised". I asked why? He said, "You never shine in practice." I was always working on routes that I wasn't good at. (Mostly timing issues with QB....). Isn't that what you're supposed to do is work on the things you aren't good at in practice? I asked. Coach mulled things over for a minute, and said, You're right and from that point on I was one of his favorites.......
So...... Cooper Kupp.

Get outta my head man!! Same choices for me....

For me this year it's Akers. Can you imagine being the anointed one in the backfield with a new QB coming in and you get hurt in camp and miss a run for the ages? He wasn't really the same guy when he did return and didn't really move the bar for us and that shit has to hurt.

He's one of my favorite dudes on this team. I love his confidence and humility. Sure hope he's in for a big season.

Gotta say...I like Jalen Ramsey the most. He talks a lot of smack, but always backs it up. I can get behind that.
Yeah he's a moody dude it seems but I love his competitive fire. And the cool thing about him is when the Rams bring in a new guy like Kendricks who doesn't like contact he's gonna see 5 out there hitting wideouts like a LB and there will be no doubts in his mind as to the rules of this secondary.

Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods are the ones that came to mind but since Trees is gone its Kupp.

The Rams dealt with mediocrity for so long at these two positions that I'm going to go with Stafford at QB for the offense and Ernest Jones at ILB for the defense.
Stafford is just warming up imo, and this O is bloody dangerous when everyone's healthy and raring to go. Jones was truly a 3'rd round gem last season, and with an apprenticeship under Bobby Wagner could make him one of the greats in time.
jmo.
