Injury reports are as old as sports, they actually try to protect the player.
Publicizing them is a different animal.
But what helps "gamblers" more, if they are pubic or if they arent?
Gimme a break Sherm....

I cant wait to hear what he comes up with next, maybe he'll come up with an accusation that when it rains, outdoor fields get wet

Consistent with Sherman to attack the very system that he benefits from. He is in the same category with Kaepernick, not being honest in his moral preening.

For right or for wrong, the Gambling industry, the Fantasy Football industry, etc. help fuel the popularity of the NFL. Sherman is supposedly smart, graduating from Stanford University. There is, actually, a lot to admire about him. But he has a side to him where he "goes dumb". And this is one of those moments.

Many NFL players complain about the gambling, or the fantasy...but then they negotiate the corresponding escalated salaries, that are a direct result of the revenue sharing from the popularity of the sport. Quite the hypocrite, Dick Sherman.

Exactly. Whether it's this or complaining about contracts or calling for strikes, he's still a freakin hypocrite.

He benefits and is a millionaire, and suddenly thinks he's the NFL's chosen one?

He got into Stanford because he can play football. His SAT's would not have gotten him in. A few years ago an article was written about him and the "he's super smart" is a creation of his, coupled with the media's "soft racism".

He's black, but he speaks English properly, like a white person, therefore he must be intelligent because otherwise he would "sound like a black guy from the ghetto". He's smart because he got into Stanford, right? Well, no. His ability to play football got him there. And lets face it, being a star athlete essentially guarantees that you get a degree even if you don't learn very much. Listen to athletes that have degrees when they are being interviewed.

His SAT's according to what I read were 990, then 1090 on a retake. That doesn't get you into Stanford, which by the way has the same acceptance rate as Harvard.

He's not stupid by any stretch of the imagination and nobody could make a case that he is, but let's lump him in with the cognitive elite because he got a football scholarship, then a communications degree.

He knows how to easily manipulate the media, and the media loves to be used for a story.

Communications degree?

Maybe he should "communicate" with his legion of loudmouths...and cover RAMS receivers

By the way........

If everyone has the info in the reports , which they do, then nobody has an advantage.

Sherman never really bothered me. I always got a kick out of him trolling the 9ers, back when the Seahawks used to clown them regularly. Setting up a table on the 9ers logo was a classic. Even though I don't consider that rude, when it triggered the 9ers and their fans it was funny.
