Anyone hear anything about the meeting today ? I can't find anything so far.

Only that he is a hot prospect right now, and the Browns have offered for him to stay, if the new HC wants him. There's also a report that the 49ers were looking at him, as not a HC, but an OC.

I don't think he'll turn down a job because of the possibility a new coach MIGHT want to keep him on staff.

Browns have to release him from his contract, though. They could choose not to.(would be a douchey move, though)

Usually if a team wants to block a coach they prevent him from interviewing. Of course it is the Browns we're talkin about...

I think they recognize that the new coach might not keep him and want to do right by him...but it's still possible they could choose not to release him from his contract if the new HC wants him on the staff.
