So reading post draft rankings (I know is all light analysis filling the NFL void). and seeing 49ers are dropping because they picked mcglinchey too early. How fragile is the 49ers rankings because they picked an OT too early. It’s obvious the 49ers love is a house of cards. Rams need to set this straight early in the season.

Jimmy G String is a good QB
I've been using Jimmy Carappolo, but Jimmy "G-String" cracked my up big time! Nice!

If Wade gets the defense to play cohesively, our defense is going to beat other teams into submission where we can win some games by the defense and special teams outscoring the other team. I believe we are going to demolish the lower tier teams but our defense will keep us in the games with the top teams.

I can't see the Rams losing more than 3-4 games, and that's including sitting our starters while the whiners beat our practice squad on the last week of the season.

I think Minnesota will remain the toughest matchup. They're uber tough defensively and they'll be more versatile on offense having Cousins in there, not to mention getting Dalvin Cook back. That team will be hungry much like our Rams.

IMO Philly takes a small step back this year. As much as i like Wentz at QB he's a bit careless/fearless and could prove to be a career "when healthy" guy.

San Francisco still has holes. Not enough weapons on offense. Fuck em.

I totally agree with Minnesota being toughest game on the schedule. I thought it was our worst regular season loss last year. I don't think Cousins will change the qb play much as Keenum was killing it last year. And, the game is at home vs. in Minnesota, plus it's a short week with Minnesota having to travel. If the Rams don't pull this one out and knock off Minnesota, losing two seasons in a row will just suck, but think the Rams should win it.

And yeah, Philly is going to have the Superbowl hangover. I bet their season won't go so well, or don't think it will be as good as last year. Rams had'em and let it slip away last year.

Case had a good season i agree but in terms of opening up the playbook a little, Cousins can make some throws that Keenum can't make consistently.

Definitely. This is going to be a tough game. I'm glad it's earlier in the season. If Rams pull it out, they can feed off that momentum the rest of the way!

I felt like 3 of our losses including 2 above were significantly influenced by our lack of depth. We lost to Washington and Minnesota at the end of the game due to injuries to our starting CBs, and we lost in Philly after Hav took a play off and our backup RT was beat. Our depth is a lot better now, at least in the secondary.

1 - Claim NFC West Dominance - by putting a beat down on SF twice to reinforce that statement
2 - Establish Home Field advantage - by sealing the deal on PHI who escaped our grasp last year
3 - Claim the NFC Throne - by beating MINN soundly which admittedly dominated the Rams in the 2nd half of last year's game
