I don't read into this at all. Hopkins is the #3 TE.

And yeah, how dumb can you be to have Kupp at PR??

Kupp as punt returner.... :sick2:
Koski and Jackson ahead of Tutu and Skowronek.
Young and Reeder as starters.... meh

Lots of change to still take place over the next month but a good peak into the initial camp winners.

Some interesting things on there to me especially the returners after hearing nothing but Tutu was the guy there. And the ILB spots the way they are. I'd wager those above anything else are very much in flux.

I would like to know who puts this together. It doesn't mean much at this point. At least it gives the players by position.

They are conservative with the rooks across the board. Looks like the chart they filled out prior to camp. In that time window. It's obviously gonna change a ton.

One thing that stands out to me is that DL depth chart. It really is something this year. I have to think our defense is gonna look good in garbage time vs most offenses in the preseason games. :fistbump1:

It's unofficial and not accurate IMHO, they just put it together quickly and Kupp has not even returned punts I believe. It appears that RB Raymond Calais & Atwell will battle it out for PR and just have to see how things play out in preseason too.

The Rams have already updated their depth chart, listing Brian Allen as the starting center now.

Funk/Jones are now co-RB2, with Jefferson/Jackson being co-starters at WR https://t.co/BotVT9iDdX

Man, our WR group is just insane.

We are at the extreme opposite of the Spags/Fisher years, where we just hoped somebody, anybody, could make a difference at that position. Most of those guys from those years wouldn't even be able to squeeze in at the bottom of our roster, much less play a significant role.

Not sure why they'd even bother with the depth chart until camp is done. It's nice for the fans if it's updated but unless you have someone in-house who is all hell bent to do it just seems like a lot of work and focus for little reason.

I don't even use the team depth chart btw. Not even during the season. I prefer Ourlads because they do a better job keeping it updated. Teams sort of forget about them and all that.

What you talking about, man?

Austin Pettis and Greg Salas would force Woods and Kupp to RAISE THEIR GAME! And Godd@mn… Coasting like vets… those days would be over!

Without a doubt. And the one-year improvement of the unit is off the charts too.

Jefferson has really responded to the competition DJax provided. And it's not like he wasn't playing well for us last year too. That Green Bay game he looked like a vet.

Can you imagine if Tutu gets this offense down and can contribute? Boy there's gonna be a lot of mismatches out there vs other teams' CB3s and 4s.

Tutu seems to be the enigma of the WR group.

He took a big step backwards with his 10 day Covid lockdown.

The minute he was drafted, he was one of the biggest head scratching draft picks for the Rams in recent years.

I say that because of all the reviews on this board and sports media after he was drafted.

His size/weight and the Rams having drafted Jefferson the year before in 2020, was also often discussed after the draft.

If he doesn't get as many targets as Van Jefferson got in 2020 and ends up injured or has a redshirt rookie season, there will be a lot of his critics pounding the drums.

Yeah and I have to admit I don't expect him to do much for at least half the season if that. Rams have guys positioned to take snaps 4 deep in that WR unit and Tutu is behind so he's in for a long rookie season.

If he's really smart he'll bust his ass to be a returner. That gets him on the gameday roster. From there McVay would have a hard time not putting him in there for jet sweeps lol, but he's gotta be able to offer something to get that gameday nod.
