Is Hill the missing piece to having a winning season?

If Hill can take care of the ball, which he can, we can do damage.

Our defense is coming on strong. We have decent talent at the skill positions, and it isn't like Hill is a immobile QB. He is a veteran in this league and can read defenses and quite frankly, is better than AD in ever facet of the game.

Now that our defense is back, possibly. Obviously he's not going to make this offense elite or anything, but if we can put up decent PPG and he doesn't throw pick sixes, we have a chance to win. I think Hill, even though he's not much taller, does a better job of seeing open receivers too. That's one thing I hated with Davis, he missed open guys often because of his height.

Keep the turnovers down and who knows. Davis had four ints and two fumbles returned for touchdowns this year. Hard to overcome that many free points given to the other team.

Yeah, assuming the D keeps ballin' I like the Rams' chances because I think Hill will make the passes Davis couldn't including some bombs to Britt and I don't think the TOs will be as high. He'll turn it over, but not near as much I hope. He's not a star or anything but he's good at controlling a game IMHO.

As others have said though, he may not last behind that line. We'll see.

insufficient evidence as of right now

will answer Sunday around 4:25 EST

Hill is gonna help out this line by making quicker decisions on where to go with the ball and getting it out there quicker.

At 3-6, the Rams can only lose 1 more game to still have a winning season.

Given all the other problems, I don't think Warner in his prime would be that kind of answer.

Didn't vote it's a push poll ,even if he does win it will prove nothing especially if the defense doesn't give up the lead to a backup QB when they have a team and stadium on the ropes.
Of the three turnovers that culminated in the roof falling in against the Cardinals ONE was Davis fault but ALL are being laid at his door ,and by people who know what I say there is true.

Heck yeah Hill gives the rams a much better chance to win. If the defense keeps playing well and Hill can hit the open receivers that Davis couldnt see while not committing back breaking turnovers the rams will win most of their remaining games.

I believe Hill got a bum call when he was replaced after 1/2 of a game. And I believe we will Win with him!

Doubtful. No Quick. Sieves at C and OG.

Our offense, regardless of Hill/Davis/Keenum just isn't what I hoped it would be provided we had a healthy Bradford, Long, Quick, etc. Don't think any of our QBs have the ability to win us games.

The only thing that can win us games the rest of the way is the D carrying the load by getting TO's, good field position, or scores.

Hill doesnt need to win us the game, he just needs to manage it and get the ball into our playmakers hands and limit turnovers. With the D finally clicking we can win a lot of games now that the turnover machine is out.

As long as he doesn't have multiple pick sixes a game, or fumble returns for TDs, we'll win.

Boffo - first of all, love your sig. Laugh every time I see it.
I don't think, however, we presently have "all those other problems".
The Rams are weak at free safety, and right guard. A lot of the other positions could obviously be improved, but at present really aren't problems.

Yes we can win, no question. But is it too late to make a run? Best possible record is 10-6.

Here's what sucks about Davis. Turn on the SEA tape and you'll not even know it's the same guy that played against KC, SF, and ARZ. What the neck happened to the poise is beyond me.

i believe the team will be better with hill and they will win some games; doubt they make the playoffs. if the change had been made sooner, i think we'd have a decent shot at it.
