Huh?!? I thought the league year didn't start until Wednesday or so. What's up already?

Basically, the football Cardinals finally pulled off a heist that would make the baseball Cardinals proud. Oh, and the 69ers got a first round pick from the Colts for Deforest Buckner.

I liked him. Seemed like a good-great player depending on how he was used. I loved him coming out of LSU and liked the pick. He endured a lot with this organization in his time here. And he seemed like a good person and locker room guy. He got a good a contract from us last time and he was one of the guys for whom I wanted us to get a ring two years ago.

Don’t mind moving on. I hope we can figure out our personnel and scheme-fit a little better going forward. There have been times where I think we’ve seemed unsettled on the Dline...square pegs/round holes sort of thing.

Best of luck to him. And I hope we can re-organize going forward.

We had a depth problem at DT last year, now we lose Brock.

We had a hole at LB last year with Reeder starting, and now we're going to lose Littleton, our only good ILB? So two questions at ILB this year?

Really wondering how this defense gets better when the front 7 is getting worse.

I'm not sure but I think the Ravens have a hole at RDE starter, the same position he played in LA. He's a decent player but he's not a particularly good DE. He's a 3T so since the Raven's play a hybrid 3-4 he could end up there.

Good Luck Brockers and thanks for the work you did for the Rams. With that said, this is something I thought would happen and bothers me the least of losing. I'd much rather keep Littleton and Fowler although I'm not sure we will keep either.

Dang. He was my favorite Los Angeles Ram. He was a fine player, excellent and very cordial with the press. Loved listening to him on the post-game show and during the week on Mason & Ireland here in Los Angeles. I have a feeling we'll see him again in the playoffs--if there is an NFL season this year.

Solid player with the rams .. wouldn’t ever let you down but it was time ..good luck in Balt brock
