I wasn’t a fan of the Bennett selection, and he looks just awful on the field.

There will be some vets available in the next two weeks. I’m bringing in a pro to back up Stafford.

Yes, he’s made mistakes, but this is without us game planning and with Asshole Face calling this game and coming at it like it’s a regular season game. Most of our OL in this game will be in the couch on Sundays.

I don’t get the “relax” comment. Bennett is an unproven rookie taken on Day 3 of the draft. There is no presumption that he would be ready to be the backup.

I agree that we don’t want to see anyone but Stafford at QB this year. If the need arises, though, I don’t see anything that would indicate to me that Bennett is up for the task.

I don't get the panic for the last "Preseaon" game of the year.

that’s some of the worst QBing I’ve seen in a while. That 2nd int likely gets intercept by the bronco teammate if not the guy in front. Heck the whole team looked about as bad as I’ve seen.

But whatever. It means nothing really. Well except for Bennett. That’s bad. You can’t candy coat that. I’m hoping he is much better than this and makes me change my mind about his drafting.

It’s amazing to me how protective some here are when it comes to Bennett. Do we have a contingent of Bulldog fans I’m not aware of?

Believing we need a better QB2 does not fill me with a sense of dread. Just a relatively minor personnel issue.

To articulate, if we need Stetson Bennett during the season, I trust McVay to prepare him with a game plan customized to his strengths

A few bad decisions without preparation against a team that has game planned against him and are playing with full blitz package and disguised coverages doesn’t mean a damn thing and shouldn’t be remotely any kind of indicator about Bennett at all

What have you seen from him that makes you think he’s our best option behind Stafford?

Judging a QB on a meaningless pre-season game is a fools errand

As the girl who didn't like the Stetson Bennett draft pick, we have to remember that this is preseason, that this is a retooling team. We're not going to be perfect, and Bennett doesn't have to be perfect either.
