He talks about the oline as well and all the parts working well but his focus here is on the great blocking by Higbee and our WR's. Most non Rams fans don't have any idea how great these guys are at this aspect of the game. The fact that Kupp can go out have the day catching the ball like he did and have the year doing that he is having and still affect the run game so much blocking just makes him the best.

Love it when someone takes the time to highlight parts of the game that don't show up in player stats but has a huge effect on a team's success.
We all know this is an important part of playing receiver for the Rams but fans of other teams may not be as aware of how good our guys are and how much time and effort goes into being a complete Ram player.

Even if you don't use twitter load up his account almost daily and you'll get these things. It's of all 32 teams but he does this every week.

That bs tackle of Henderson looks just as bad in slow motion as it did live.
Henderson appears to let the game/tackle be dictated by his opponent, whereas Sony (for example) attacks the defender. I think this is why he is always getting hurt... he lets the defense dictate the play, and he gets caught in awkward situations. Did you see the position he was in when his knee got bent? I'm not sure this is "smart" football.

I believe that a strong run game is something you can ride in the playoffs. Way this line is playing plus Michel plus getting Akers back... We're about to find out if that is true but IMO buckle up this is going to be fun. :bomb:

It's like a horse collar from the side. I was thinking that when I saw it... and ouch, that can't be good.
How is grabbing the arm that Henderson gave the defender anything close to a horse collar??

It was a lazy attempt to straight arm the defender. If he just runs hard through the defender he probably gains a few extra yards and doesn’t get hurt.

I agree that Henderson could have avoided that tackle. At the same time I never saw a player grab an arm and leave his feet to drag down a runner. It was a very awkward tackle.

I'm just sick watching this, thinking what Akers coulda done with holes like that.
I so hope he heals up right & gets back to being able to do everything he was able to before.
Cause he can get an OPOY nod if so.
And a 1-2 punch with Akers-Michel sounds killer.

How about Super Bowl MVP? Who knows, could happen IF he's fully back. Akers is not just some depth back, the guy is a difference maker.

He may be an unknown in health but this RB depth chart right here is the first time we have had good depth in many years. Brown and Henderson behind Gurley was a fucking mirage. Akers behind Michel though, assuming Akers really is back, is fucking insane.

Like "make a massive run in the playoffs" type insane. Remember Philly's Super Bowl run? Yeah there was a RB trade that IMO played a massive role in what they did that year. Michel has been looking like a similar addition and now getting a Pro Bowl level RB back on top of that... Are you kidding me??? I am on cloud 9 right now man. :trophy:

Lol another breakdown of Kupp, this one from some geniuses on yout. This is just priceless, pure comedy gold. They even brag about liking a guy infinitely more who never played a game in the nfl.

It was an awkward tackle. Henderson was trying to stiff arm the defender as he was running down the sideline, something lots of RBs do including Henry. Being dragged down from the side is similar to a horse collar...a defender's body weight is applied awkwardly to the knee and causes it to buckle. That's how Bradford's ACL was tore.

I don't think his style has anything to do with his injuries...they are unfortunate circumstances. Let's not ignore Michel's injury history and assume his playing style keeps him healthy.

I don’t disagree with any of that. It wasn’t a very good attempt at a straight arm, you can’t just put your arm out and hold it out there. It needs to be a strong punch and located properly.
