Cool maybe they can get a 4th for him. But probably a 7th because they don't have any 5th or 6th round picks.

It's a straight swap with Steely McBeam

Well, he really was not the guy we thought we were getting. If it was gonna be more of the same then I suppose its not a bad thing. Should create even more cap space next year? I hope.

I think Jefferson should be given every opportunity to show what he can do. He's got the skills to be a solid WR2. This also likely creates more opportunity for Tutu Atwell. He showed flashes last year. Speed. Ability to track down the deep throws. And decent hands.

In what is perceived to be a throw away year maybe those guys can give us something to look forward to if they decide to extend Jefferson.

Only day 3 picks Steelers have is a 4th 120, and two 7ths.

It would be a miracle, but would be great to send them Robinson and a late 5th 167, and a 7th and get their 120 pick.

Not what we thought we were gonna get, sadly. 33 catches for 339 yards isn't $15M.
Wish him the best but turns out it wasn't the fit we all hoped for.

So 6th in 2023 or 5th in 2024 is my guess. More $$ for 2024.
They only have a 4th and two 7ths on day 3.

So likely only a 7th unless the Rams eat some salary as they have mentioned is possible to improve a trade return.

Maybe a 24' pick or the Rams send them a 5th & 6th plus Robinson to get that 4th at pick 120.

A cap saving move for next year. Hope they don't get into the over priced free agent frenzy next year and be smart with the money they have available. They should have higher first round pick also. Find that impact guy for another run in a year or two.

Right or wrong, the Rams simply were not going to use him next year the way he would be best utilized at this point in his career which - if the reporting is to be believed - is as a big slot kinda guy.

We already have Kupp playing there on many snaps and we need to be hunting for an X receiver at some point (though I don't know that you get one in this draft).

I think this is addition by subtraction. I expect the Rams to draft multiple pass catchers in this draft and possibly bring in a cheap/average vet X receiver after the draft if we get some savings here with Robinson.
