All I know is that 2026 draft is gonna be fun for Rams fans in the first 2 rounds.Alternative question: was it a good trade for Falcons given everything we know now?

Probably because every site lists him outside round 1.Keep getting the feeling Johnson is a round 2 guy but lots of time until the draft to iron that all out.

But yeah I think they're just overlooking him right now. Plays up with tenacity. Plays off with anticipation. Sticky in the route. Tough as nails. Good size. The exact kind of corner we require.

That is an extreme example. In addition, even if there are two QBs in the top 10, they'll likely be gone in the top 5 picks which means Atlanta at 13 wouldn't be in range for those guys without giving up a king's ransom.Depends if they have their QB. That first could be used to maneuver up and down the draft board this year. If two QBs hit in the top 10 and the Falcons stay in QB purgatory, IMO it's a failed trade. We had Aaron Donald for what, five years prior to McVay and had a grand total of zero winning seasons? And Pierce seems like he will be similar to BY in terms of impact, not near AD.
That's an extreme example, but the point is you never sacrifice future firsts unless you have your QB locked in
The owner is the problem there.Problem is none of those guys will choose ATL they should have waited a year. No 1st round pick and a mess at QB isn't exactly appealing IMO.
You'll watch the vids and like it.I don't worry too much about those rankings right now as you can tell from my first mock
But a few guys I've read and do well with this stuff have him in the pick 45 range mid day 2 type guy but it's early anything can happen. You don't have to link me vids of him I've looked into him. He's good but there are CB I would take over him.
Just remember every year there are guys we fans love and think will go high or late and we're wrong on most of them every year. Teams don't value things the way we do.You'll watch the vids and like it.
I think where he slots will of course come down to his 40 time, as it usually does with the top group of corners. If he posts a top 40, given his size and tape, I'd see no reason why he wouldn't go very high. But yeah we'll see.
Oh believe me as with anyone who has followed the draft any length of time you get humbled pretty much every year. I never bat a thousand, but sometimes there's dudes I'm more bullish on than the others.Just remember every year there are guys we fans love and think will go high or late and we're wrong on most of them every year. They won’t do better than Raheem next year IMO.Raheem canned. Wow.
I had a couple of those that worked out the last few yearsOh believe me as with anyone who has followed the draft any length of time you get humbled pretty much every year. I never bat a thousand, but sometimes there's dudes I'm more bullish on than the others.
I dunno, they seem to have a ton of young talent. Not sure what FA QBs are available, but they have some dudes on both sides of the ball that will attract any coach.Problem is none of those guys will choose ATL they should have waited a year. Nothing at QB better than what they have IMO. Penix won't be ready for the start of the season and Cousins isn't special. Other pieces are all well and good but without a QB in this game you don't win.I dunno, they seem to have a ton of young talent. That FO/coaching staff cooked themselves by drafting Penix after committing so much to Cousins. That never made sense.
I just noticed something. I remember getting a lot of negative comments about one of my draft crushes and he turned out good in spite of being "over drafted" according to some hahaOh believe me as with anyone who has followed the draft any length of time you get humbled pretty much every year. I'm kinda interested in seeing how many picks they can get in the top 100..All I know is that 2026 draft is gonna be fun for Rams fans in the first 2 rounds.
Yeah, he was a solid selectionSo, we get pick 13.
Last time we picked a player at 13 it was in 2014 and turned out somewhat decent
I don't think he's a great owner but man do I have a hard time harping on the guy when he keeps prices down on concessions the way he does. The owner is the problem there.
