2019 Wild Card Saturday - Game Day Menu

Prolly something low carb. Gotta stick with the winter tradition of taking off that ten pounds I gained during the holidays. Maybe some steak and salad with no starch on the side. A few weeks of that and the ten pounds come right off. If I don't do that every year I'd end up 30 or 40 pounds heavier after a few years.
 
Today:
  • Some fancy twice baked potatoes, baking now - nicely loaded
  • Sauerkraut and sausages
  • I grabbed several frozen appetizers as well to pop in as the games progress, spinach and cheese pastry things

Tomorrow:
  • Ham and Swiss Hawaiian sandwiches. The ham will cook sliced in a sauce for 4hrs before building these sandwiches and baking them with a buttery poppyseed rub on the sandwhich lids. (y)
 
Today.
Keeping it simple.
Throwing some mini Chimichangas in the air fryer with a side of guacamole.
Polish sausages. I like mustard and jalepenos on mine.
Store bought, Ressers macaroni salad.
Almost no dishes for me today.


Tomorrow
Tri tip
Going to make some baked beans. I have leftover ham and beans that I made from my leftover Christmas ham/ham bone that will be repurposed one last time.
Red cabbage slaw
 
Doesn’t look like much yet... brown sugar, maple, pineapple...

Then will bake hot ham/swiss/poppyseed/pineapple sandwiches out of that. (y)
