Not only are the uniforms of the Iowa and the Pittsburgh Steelers the same colors, but their coaching tenures too. The Steelers have had three Head Coaches since 1969 and as @IowaRam so eloquently communicated, the Hawkeyes have had only two Head Coaches since 1979.

Ferentz came to Iowa City after being the OL Coach for (you guessed it) of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I was very impressed with Ferentz because he had multiple opportunities to move to higher profile programs and the NFL too, however, he loved Iowa and chose to stay there. Ferentz is a throwback Head Coach and over the years his offenses have been compared to root canal, but his teams are always well coached and they don't get many 4 or 5 star recruits, so Ferentz and his staff always have to coach up the personnel.

Congrats to Coach Ferentz, truly an outstanding Head Coach and even a better human being.

Did anyone watch it? GD, that was an incredible performance by Crawford. He came up two weight classes against a guy who was strong as an ox and stood his ground. Canelo was never able to get untracked, and for every 1-2 good shots he landed, Crawford came back with 2-3 more. If anything, the judges were too lenient toward Canelo, because I had Crawford winning by a much wider margin.

Really happy to see this on Netflix without requiring PPV for subscribers. Hope this is a beginning of a trend. Boxing has hurt itself in recent years with excessive use of PPV, but merely having a Netflix description doesn't seem like a big ask from potential viewers. More of this please.

Stafford has a good feel with Higbeast. McVay will use Higbeast to help with protections as he goes for "big chunks" down the field. You can just as well get "big chunks" getting Higbeast on a LB on short slants and seams passes. The point is steady moving the ball getting first dows!!!

Yeah, hoping next year we get a high level RT and CB...and of course a QB. We can do that if we have 3 picks in the first two rounds. Hopefully we don't have to trade up for a QB or if we do maybe we use a future high pick and just a mid round pick this year.

Knapp took a lot of shit over the course of his career for being the "UFO reporter." He was regarded as a not serious reporter (or the Vegas UFO dude) because he would actually entertain the reports people would bring to him and report on the things he felt were legitimate. This is back during years when the stigma was much stronger than it is nowadays. So I am glad to see him getting his moment in the limelight.

Corbell is a filmmaker who has jumped onto the gravy train, given the sheer amount of interest in this phenomena. Not a fan of him but it's not a bad thing for filmmakers to come out of the woodwork to lessen the stigma through content.
