Undeterred by the Rams' less than scintillating preseason, Post-Dispatch football writer Jim Thomas sees the Rams with nine victories, thus ending their 11-year spell without a winning record. Then again, he correctly picked the winner in only four of 16 Rams games last season.

Not bad Jim Thomas actually believes we win more then 8 games. But wow some of the losses he has us going down big. We shall see.

With all of those high scores by opponents, either JT thinks the Rams will give up lots of turnover points or the defense just wont be too good.

I don't think it will be so easy to score on this team.

Regardless of the scores he predicts, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of wins.

I figured he'd say 8-8 at best... probably 7-9.
