TRANSCRIPT: Head Coach Jeff Fisher, QB Sam Bradford, 12-26-12

Head Coach Jeff Fisher – Post-Practice – December 26, 2012

(On if it’s a requirement to get turnovers in order to beat Seattle)
“Well, yes. You’re going to have to get turnovers and score points and play perfect in all three phases probably. They’re a very, very good football team right now.”

(On how he would describe the season up to this point)
“Well, right now I think the way we’re taking the approach is that we’ve won four out of the last five. I think that implies that we’re getting better and that’s been our goal all year is to just improve. There’s teams out there that aren’t doing that. That was our deal. We’re improving and we’d like to finish up strong and continue with the improvement.”

(On how Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has improved since their last meeting)
“First year players improve when they play all year – we’ve got some that’s evidence – but that’s what he’s done. He’s just gotten better and better. They’re doing more things. He’s much more comfortable. He’s extending plays. He’s pulling the ball down and running for 15-, 20-, 30-yard touchdowns and just breaking defensive backs. He’s throwing with accuracy and they’re not turning the football over, and of course they’re getting turnovers on defense.”

(On how important it is to finish the season with a win)
“Well, it’s a lot better than the alternative. That’s what we’re trying to do and that’s what we’re practicing for. They’re doing a great job today. We went a short amount of time to get ready, long trip, against probably one of the hottest teams in the league. It’s a great challenge for us.”

(On if Seattle’s receiving corps is getting better)
“Yes, it’s better. (Seahawks WR) Sidney’s (Rice) healthy. You can tell he’s healthy and (Seahawks WR) Golden Taint’s playing really well. Tight ends are making plays. He’s spreading the ball all over the place. He’s running around throwing check downs. They’ve got a lot of balance on offense. What they’re doing, teams load up to stop the run, now the receivers are making the plays down the field.”

(On what the difference is between Seattle now and when they last played)
“Well, it’s a much improved team. The offense is much more explosive and I think that’s because of the quarterback play.”
