Alright, this is my take on the Ice-Bucket Challenge. My wife grows sage in her herb garden. I have plucked about 6 leaves and they are now drying. I will burn said sage and change "you gotta believe" in order to help our beloved teams' luck (see: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...rams-coach-chuck-knox-carroll-rosenbloom-sage). After this I will challenge some posters to do the same.

Note: this is meant to be lighthearted, and a way to help alleviate a frustrating situation with all of the injuries and years of bad luck. I hope this will be fun and a way to all help put this mess behind us. I'm not trying to take away from the Ice-Bucket challenge to raise awareness and money for ALS research. ALS is a terrible illness and I apologize if I offend anyone who has a relative/friend suffering with ALS

Rams and Gators wanting to violate the Geneva Convention:
We should have an Alan's fruit cake challenge .
I've always wanted to see The Hague.

I remember tailgating in STL before the 2001 NFC Championship Game and seeing what looked to be a giant joint burning. It was being held by what looked to be a gigantic roach clip and it was just slowly burning... nobody smoking it. I didn't know the story behind the sage at the time,,, I had to ask what in the hell that thing was for. I should also point out that it had a very pungent smell that the smoke was giving off.

Anyway, we won that game against the eagles. I believe. I'll make a point to burn some sage before each game too. I've seen it in the produce section at Publix.

I know sage is really good at keeping mosquitoes away if you burn it in a campfire. Perhaps it might work against the pests of the NFCW.

Burning sage worked in '99. The Rams - or Tampa Bay, not sure - had the worst record in the NFL during the decade of the 1990's; Trent Green was injured in the preseason; then fans started burning sage, to break the curse. Needless to say, it worked. Or, something did.

If you have a Hy-Vee nearby, might be best to purchase your sage from there; extra potent.

I'll be getting some sage leaves and doing my part before week one. I'll try anything once.

You know, instead of an ice bucket challenge, I wish it was the "ice bucket of beer challenge" and you just have to chug beer. Now that is something I would get behind, many many many times.

I thought it was the Rams v. Bengals game which the loser would take the honor of worst team of the decade. The Rams won!!!!!!!!!

My sage is now dry. Either tomorrow or Saturday I shall burn the sage in preparation of the season starting.
