I'll give it one more episode but it bores me entirely.
Its a shame its an AMC show because I'd love to see the twins in an R rated version
I just dont find any of it that capitvating that I need to know what happens

I meant I've lost interest as well. Funny thing is, I love that medieval genre - seen 'A Knight's Tale' a dozen times - and love GOT as well, I just can't seem to get into this one.
If you ever get a chance, check out "Pillars of the Earth", a miniseries based on a Ken Follett novel of the same name. It chronicles the life if a medieval mason, (who were basically the architects of their time) - has some pretty good actors/acting in it.

I didn't read much about the show. I just watched it. I had no idea that the healer Annora was Katy Sagal. I don't recall seeing her in that type of role and she is doing a great job of it IMO.

I havent watched last night yet.
I agree with your sentiment on Katy Sagal. She is awesome. Her accent was a little off at first, but I think shes great.
Im facinated by the ass kicking priest.
I like the show but am not really liking the main character so I am having trouble staying engaged.
I heard through the grape vine that last night was really good, so Ill give it a whack

I like Wilkin Brattle. I like how things got so switched around on him. It was actually Annora that started the whole thing by putting the cross on his cheek and telling him to pose as the executioner. So, did she mean this all to play out this way? Or is it coincidence? I like how he struggles with being forced to kill and staying true to God. Piety was a big deal back then. I think it is acted pretty well. There is enough of a variety of plots and story lines to keep it interesting. But, if you don't like, then you don't like it.

I hope it has enough of an audience to keep it alive for a few seasons.

The next to the last episode was very good. I loved the scene with the Priest in the cave. It was cool to see Piers Gaveston get his due too. The season finale is next. There is no indication of a second season so far. I hope that changes.

According to history, Gaveston was exiled several times but kept coming back. He was finally executed by beheading for not staying out of English lands.

Yeah, there is still a lot of mystery to the show. I would like to see it play out.

Lady Love is not usually my type but there is something about her that turns me on. It must be the ornate hair. Maybe because she is a ruler. I wonder how she would look in leather with a whip. She could string Wilkin up on the rack and punish the punisher. Ouch. Otherwise she seems a bit stiff. I guess that could just be the role.

I have I think 4 episodes stored on my DVR. The show just started to bore me, primarily the lead character. It's hard to get into a series when the main actor doesn't really interest you in the least. I have those last 4 shows saved I may watch them at some time.

Still watching as I realized the finale is this week.
Curious how it ends, not sure if its picked up for a season 2.
I like the priest, but thats about it
