Jared Goff has the potential to post the best touchdown interception ratio in Rams history. Goff is tied with Roman Gabriel for first place at a ratio of 3.4/1 (24 TD/7 Int). Trent Green is in second place with a ratio of 3.2/1 (16 TD/5 Int) and Warner in third at 3.15/1 (41 TD/13 Int). Having such a favorable TD/Int ratio is very Aaron Rodger like. Hats off to Goff.

I hope he ends the Regular Season with 30 TD's minimum and only 7 Int's!!

I said in preseason I was hoping for a 225 ypg and a 2 to 1 TD ratio. He's ahead of that yardage but his TD ratio has been very impressive. Future so bright he's gotta wear shades.

Anyone know how many of the int's were tipped or bounced off a receiver? Also don't think any were in the red zone?

Pretty sure most was on Goff it doesn’t take away his awesome year though. Goff and Cousins number are eerily similar though

I think he has been making great decisions with the ball. Definitely playing beyond his years in that regard.

One thing I want to point out, and keep in mind I played baseball so I don't have detailed schematic knowledge of offensive football, but McVays route combinations are absurd. I've never seen so many wide open receivers running around consistently.

The way we use our bunch formations and the way he uses Gurley in and out of those formations is tremendous. Throw in the sweeps and ghost motions and I can only imagine how hard it is for defenses to key in on one player. Brian Baldinger breaks down tape every week and this is one thing he pointed out about McVays scheme as well. That the QB will ALWAYS have an answer to what the defense is showing, and that our route combos alone allow WRs to create separation.

Not to take anything away from Goff because I feel he has done an amazing job taking care of the ball. But I think we all need to thank out lucky stars he is now partnered with one of the best offensive minds in football.

Good chance for 30 Td’s if he can finish strong. The TD int ratio is excellent.

But it’s even not fair to judge by that considering the TD’s that Gurley turns in running it. Goff could be easily sitting at 30 right now if we didn’t have such an effective red zone back and Oline.

The 8.0 yds per pass says it all.

I can think of two, well one was the Watkins sideline pass the other I think bounced of Kupps hands.

Who is this nerdy kid from California that's tearing up the NFL 5 years after his high school senior season?

Jared Goff and Christian Hackenberg first met as high schoolers before their senior seasons.

Two high school quarterbacks from opposite ends of the country met for the first time in July 2012, during the summer before their senior seasons. One, a golden-haired jokester in Blues Brothers spectacles, the son of an ex-Major League Baseball player turned firefighter, was coming off a heartbreaking championship loss at the Oakland Coliseum to close out his junior year in California.

The other, a brown-haired boy with green eyes and a chiseled jaw, the son of a former college football player, was a year removed from winning a state championship in Virginia.

They crossed paths during the final round of Elite 11, the foremost quarterback competition for high schoolers on the recruiting trail. Organizers of the annual QB combine remember Jared Goff and Christian Hackenberg as natural leaders with 'live' arms.

Both finished among the top six out of some 2,000 hopefuls who either tried out or submitted film, and each would each go on to have success as college passers—Goff at Cal, and Hackenberg at Penn State—before being selected two rounds apart during this year’s NFL draft.

He's had 4 that were tipped off the top of my head. Last week on 4th down, Watkins tip and 2 screen type throws I believe. He's really thrown 3 "bad" INT's IMO. He's been so damn smart with the ball. Shows how well the coaches are scheming and how quickly Goff and company are translating that to the grass as McVay would say. Just keep reloading on O line and Goff can be a terror for the rest of the West for years!

No red zone. Let's see, off the top of my head:

Game 2 in Wash, with about 1:30 left in the 4th, just after Wash went up by 7, Goff, throwing to Kupp, M. Foster had a really deep drop and broke in from his zone, a really good play by him.

In Seattle (2), the first game, Goff threw a high pass, tipped by Gurley with one hand, and then picked. The 2nd pick, Goff has heavy pressure in his face, and threw an errant pass to E. Thomas.

Arizona, short pass to Gurley, looked like a total miscommunication, pass was way off.

In New Orleans, it was a deep pass to Watkins on the left sideline, looked catchable, but Sammy didn't adjust, and tipped it with one hand, almost handing it to the defender.

Arizona, game 2, it was an intended pass to Gurley in the flat, he was wide open, but the DL had a leaping, high pointing INT. Great play by the defender.

Last game at Seattle, the ball was intended for Everett, but was tipped at line, then barely tipped by Everett (High) who was getting hit before the pass got there. Legal play, because the ball was already tipped. INT.

Edit> 2 were outstanding defensive plays, 1 was a miscommunication, and 3 were tipped, 1 of which wasn't a great pass. 1 was a really bad pass.

On the int by Earl Thomas Goff was hit as he threw.

On the first Arizona one Gurley was
Illegally knocked off his route on a timing route. Should have been defensive pass interference.

Goff has 2 interception the entire year (Washington and Arizona) due to bad read. The rest are tipped passes, throw while hit or defensive interference.
