It would be interesting to see if any team is willing to risk the PR disaster of signing him.

Appealing the suspension sent a pretty strong message that he was only sorry and accepting punishment if said punishment was a slap on the wrist.

Probably not, we've got good running backs. Why waste money signing a big name when we have other glaring positions of need.

Guess I would have used blue for this...{probably just me though, everybody is entitled to their opinion)...I think he should allow her a rematch...He could then be proud to have knocked out a WOMAN twice...What machismo, I'm in awe !!!

He had to be reinstated, suspending him indefinitely isn't an option under the CBA.

What he did was revolting, but the NFL rules at the time called for just two games.

As graphic as the whole incident was, what does it mean that the woman not only stayed with him but married him? Seems like if she could forgive him, it might need to be considered...

I was fearing to come on and see someone suggesting we pick him up... We have no need for him. Now if Aaron Rodgers knocks out his gf and gets suspended then reinstated and the Packers drop him give me a call...

Of course he was reinstated, you can't suspend someone twice for the same infraction.
Which is why you don't give people slaps on the wrist and hope the evidence stays buried.

But if Goodell hadn't learned that lesson before, he's not going to learn it now.
