Didn't you have one like this before?

BTW, I'm having trouble with this new format. Can you tell me where the quote button is?

I can switch you to the old format. But hope you give the new a little time to get used to.

The quote is in the lower right of the post boxes.

More, quote, reply

That looks like an avatar one them there hippie types would use. I'm much too sophisticated for that. :sneaky:

I never use the quote function only 'reply.' Besides I'm stuck in the old format for some reason and can't get out.

CGI_Ram misunderstanding me:
I can switch you to the old format. But hope you give the new a little time to get used to.

That quote button is not the button I'm talking about. That merely quotes a highlighted area. I don't need or use that. I use Ctrl V for that. What i'm talking about is the one that was on the bar of the reply box at the top. It includes the Bold button, the Italics button, the Underline button, the color button and so on. It used to be there.

So here's how I do replies.
I hit the reply button on the post I want to reply to.
I delete all the stuff in the brackets like this red stuff [QUOTE="CGI_Ram, post: 645832, member: 51"
Then I write something after your name like this CGI_RAM misunderstanding me (and make it red) and include the part of your post I want to include in my reply.
Then I highlight everything with the mouse and use the quote button to make my modifications to your post a quote.
Then I write what I wanted to say to you.

I can't find the quote button now. If it's not there anymore I don't see how I can post in the way I always do. Or can I do it in a different way that keeps it looking like it did before?

Am I projecting?

You can see how I do things in my post above. I don't use the quote button you're talking about either.

So you were there from just about the beginning. I was CumberlandRam there. Welcome to ROD. (y)

Almost the beginning, yes. After the first year most of the regulars I knew from the official board had either moved on from RRF, or had been banned. So I know most of you by name only. You're one I recognize from there. Thanks for the welcome.

That's pretty awesome stuff right there.
What did you guys talk about?

As I recall, mostly just about life, where do you live, what do you do when the season is over, etc. and of course a lot of football, those guys live and die for football!!! Some of my buddies came over when they saw the Big Guys walking up the driveway. We got my football out and went out side and played a little. The 1st play I had to try and block Deacon (Yea Right!!! LOL), and of course he gave me his famous "Head Slap", trust me real gentle, but just hard enough to get my attention. Everybody was laughing!! I got a pass thrown to me by Lundy and Merlin grab me and lifted me over his head and acted like he was going to body slam me, of course he didn't, but scared the crap out of me!!!! It was a lot of fun for sure! They are just everyday kind of guys, lots of laughing and joking around. I think the one thing that really sticks out in my mind is just how big and strong they were!
One other thing, was at Coliseum for game, can't remember who we played, but I know we won, ran down next to the tunnel and yelled at Deacon, he walked over and patted be on the head and said it was good to see me, he even remembered my name and told me to say Hi to my Mom and Dad! Then he told me to stay right there for a minute he had something for me, he walked into the tunnel then a guy came right back out and handed me Deacon's Jersey!!! It was pretty cool, all dirty and grass stains on it. And of course Moms being Moms, she washed it ALL CLEAN!!!! LOL!!! And yes I still have it!

I am David G - living out here in Vancouver, WA - pretty much s'hawk territory. Can't stand them. Been following the Rams since the 60's when I grew up in New England. As I recall the Coastal Division was a division the rams were in, and for some reason being out of market or something, we got a fair amount of rams coverage. Became a Roman Gabriel fan (the ultimate pocket passer/statue!), the fearsome foursome... learned to hate the cowboys... did a navy gig and then came out to the left coast.. been here for 20 years, but in the Portland area now for about 35....

Came to this site, after giving up on RRF.. got tired on not being able to get my fix on the mobile device... am currently a network engineer for a utility company - for a couple of more years, anyway...

I assist my wife with our non-profit she founded, which make pet therapy visitations with our llama's and alpaca's to elder care facilities, special needs camps/school and so on.... most Sunday afternoons, I am the one that needs the therapy! (Hoping Gurley can turn that around!). Shameless plug, for the charity effort: http://rojothellama.com Them critter have been to every hotel in Portland, the art museum - you name it. And... I don't hold it against my daughter that she wants a picture of the critters, with Richard Sherman (who is often taking selfie's with llama...).

Hi David. Welcome to ROD. I'm in Vancouver too. I've seen a few Rams bumper stickers etc around here. Always good to know there are few others out here!

Welcome aboard @Dawgsfan73

I jumped on the Rams bandwagon same year you did, when they played Pitt in SB14.... lost a bet with my big brother and had to do his morning paper route for a week when the Steelers won that game

All my MinneSOTA friends drink way too much too.

Ha!

Believe it or not, was born and raised in the mountains of NC, and now reside in Fl. Became a diehard fan of the Purple People Eaters and Tarkenton back in the day, and have remained one ever since.

FTR, I drink very little.......but I do have a twisted sense of humor so, the confusion is warranted, if not expected.

You guys have a great board here! Are most of you ESPN fall-outs, after the "robustness" happened?

Dude, what the hell happend with Richt, this year? He ALWAYS has a QB waiting in the wings to step in, but the QB position has been their downfall this year! Not counting the loss of Chubb, that is.

FTR, a big UGA fan here, too. My brother-in-law is from Athens and got me watching them with him for the past 8+ years.
