I'm a little dubious that he gave up some information he's previously held close to the chest such as color combo. While he's teased pretty heavily on blue and white, he hasn't ever said what it would be, so I'm not quite so sure there. Most of it didn't seem to really be breaking news though, so I'm assuming that he did talk a little. I just don't think it was a 30 minute conversation.

Dude posted a picture of them too and Demoff was flying coach. I'd thought he would be in 1st class? Anyway, I like what he had to say:

Just boarded a plane from Atlanta to L.A and Kevin Demoff is on my flight! So Here's the scoop, I spoke with Kevin for about 30 minutes one on one, and here's what I took away from our conversation. Not to worry about AD, he will be taken care of, Cooks will be signed long term as well, the newly acquired one year contracts from free agency will also be aggressive in keeping them over several year extensions. Whitworth loves being a Ram and has no current intentions of retiring anytime soon. Dez Bryant wanted to be a Ram but the Rams said, thanks but no thanks. OBJ was never in the conversation. The team is looking to keep the practice and training facilities in the Thousand Oaks area even after the new stadium is built. The area is well liked by the players, coaches and office personnel. The new uniforms will have no more St. Louis Gold at all, rather a combination of the Canary yellow, Royal Blue and white. Not sure of the design as of yet, NFL is working with Nike to hopefully have them out by 2019 season, but probably looking at 2020 season release. Kevin was a very down to earth guy, really emphasized the team is pushed to build a hi caliber team for the city and fans. The team really took note of the huge Rams crowd at the Falcons playoff game and wants to make it like that at all the home games. He feels our team is positioned to be a serious contender for at least the next five years. He's very excited about the future of the L.A. Rams! If I can remember anything else I will let you know. Go Rams!

The white border around the numbers, personally not a fan at all... Could live w/ the white on the sleeve but I'm more the simple and old school type. Meaning usually the 1st uniforms for the most part ends up the best. So I prefer the mid 80's or the 1994 canary yellow's and lastly the Deacon Jones blue & whites t. Really hoping they don't reinvent the wheel here. Just my 2 cents. And the 'R' on left chest I never liked.

If it were me, I'm rolling back the clock on these jersey's in this order:

Personally I’d like to see the numbers outlined in white. Traditional colors but with a revamped modern look.

Yeah, I guess a lot of us have minor variations in taste re. the minor details. Give me horns, and blue and yellow or white, and I’m (basically) good. Strong preference for the 80s colors, though.

To flv- maybe I’m misunderstanding your post, but you sound like you’d want yellow horns at home and white horns on the road? NFL is pretty strict about keeping the helmet the same (except for throwback or color rush games).

I believe that the Rams use decals and have for some time, making it easy to keep the helmet the same yet change horn colors.

Yes, easy to change decals. But the NFL has rules prohibiting teams from changing helmet colors during the season.

Maybe I’m in the minority on this one, but I (basically) like this photo from den, above.

Changes I’d make: get all the yellows the same, of course. And get rid of the white on the shoulders, the yellow flare on the armpits, and the “R.” Just simple, clean, retro colors that “pop.” I like putting white borders around the numbers with a simple, modern font. To me, that would be a perfect blend, basically the traditional colors with a slightly updated look. Just shooting for a blend of the traditional and the modern.

Whatever they do, I hope they take input from the fans.

After all your preferred changes, I'd say you don't like it...lol.

KD visits this site quite often apparently. Let me just tell him I hate this jersey design. Just sayin'

Yes, easy to change decals. But the NFL has rules prohibiting teams from changing helmet colors during the season.

I believe the rule has to do with using the same helmet and the decals let you do that.

Teams like the Bucs would have their players changing entire helmets when changing from the current pewter to the old creamsicle pirate; the helmet color change.

But, I could be wrong.
