Just watching the third season of Narcos Mexico and wanted to know if any of you have watched all the seasons and/or any input from your life that has rubbed alongside these story lines.

I’m a huge history buff and it’s curious to see how things started out from how I know them now and with some of these guys portrayed in the series getting out of prison in recent years.

I spend alot of my time in South and Central America now and see that connections that are there to this day.

From staying in Miami a few weeks this month and knowing drug money basically built that metropolis that it is now.

No veo ninguna oportunidad en ROD para hablar español, nunca se saben las locuras que algunos han experimentado o de las que tienen conocimiento.

Im in the middle of launching multiple multi national companies and it amazes me how these ‘farmers and uneducated’ created Billion dollar empires back in the 80’s and 90’s and their roots and seeds that are all around us today.

Anyone have any stories or experiences by chance or seen the series and have thoughts on it?

I haven't watched it but will at some point. Honestly I'm a bit burned out by the crime shows. It's like our society has cut our own nuts off with everything and that makes us all gravitate to the criminal world stories where characters are more real, i.e. flawed and fighting for their place in the hierarchy.

Miami is going to be a big player in the financial world. Everyone knows they already are, but with financial companies fleeing NY and heading south they are in for a very big boom period in the next decade and maybe beyond.

All I can say is that I am 52 now and I have seen many lives ruined by drugs.

As Grandmaster Flash memorably said, don’t do it.
True that.

Yeah I’m pretty much over the crime shows and shit. I am more in the logistical side of how they were able to produce, transport, maintain their network for so long considering moving the product north and the cash south. It’s actually pretty incredible.

Miami actually impressed me. I thought of it more as a Las Vegas type of city but it’s fucking huge down there. Crazy ass infrastructure going up over there right now to.

Here the housing and insurance markets are nuts down there though. One day I’d like to be able to get a boat and f around out there.

Great series. Definitely a very horrifying look at what happened (happens) to get someone high in the USA.
