First off, a big shoutout goes out to X for installing the software. (software is not yet visible)

What I am looking for.

Looking for some volunteers to play "bookie" using ROD virtual money.

Just about anything can be wagered on. Over/Under, point spreads, total points, first TD, etc. Be creative.

As some of you may have noticed, you now have a dollar amount listed under your profile

screenshot_141.png

This money can be used to place bets wagered by ROD bookies. Each existing ROD member has been preloaded with 6,000 to start (new members receive 1,000) and can increase their dollar figure by

A. Winning Wagers
B. Simply posting and starting new threads. (a 20 character limit is required to earn money so dont try and post a smilie and receive credit)
C. X holds a contest of some sort, and gives away a pile of cash.

At the top of your navigation bar, you will now see a link called "Bank"

screenshot_142.png

This bank tab will take you to an area where you can send and receive donations from other members and see transaction history.

More info to come as I find my bookies...

I assume bookies bankroll would have to be loaded up to cover house costs

I'd do it, but I already have so much on my plate right now.

Yes I would. 10 different scam artists tried this one on me the last time I went to Mardi Gras.

Answer: "On your feet."

ok we got one.

As a bookie you will notice a button inside the ROD Sportsbook area

screenshot_144.png

Click "Create New Event"

then select a category

screenshot_145.png

you will get to this screen

screenshot_146.png

you will then be taken to this screen

screenshot_148.png

Here you can add your outcome. Outcome is the line you want to set with the odds.

screenshot_149.png

Click "Create Outcome" Keep adding outcomes to the event for everything you want to bet. You can add just about anything that you like as an outcome. Moneylines, over/under, who scores first, etc. Be Creative

screenshot_150.png

Once you are done adding your outcomes, you simply change the status to open and click "save event"

Thats pretty much it!

Only thing I am unsure of "event close date"

I am not sure if you are supposed to close the event before the game starts to stop wagers or if the event closing time means the end of the game.

Will find out

You can adjust your lines at anytime by going to edit.

Obviously anyone who bet with the old line is locked in.
