Fisher was a control freak .

Debatable. Fisher's teams went 20 years without drafting an offensive lineman in the 1st round, suddenly he's steamrolling his own GM to get one. I read enough articles to know that's not how Fisher/Snead operated.

You don't like the decision to draft Robinson, that responsibility/failure is shared by all; the scouts who graded him, the personnel men who campaigned for him, the coaches who failed to develop him, Robinson himself, and the guy who turned the card in at the draft.

This pizzes me right the fukk OFF! I hope he freaking fails, now.:gtfo:

LeCharles Bentley, who actually worked with Robinson, had much more positive things to say about him than that.

I don't believe anything Jason Cole says about any of our players.

I heard GRob didn't make his flight on time to the motor city.
While heading to a seat an 87 year old lady slipped past him (untouched) and grabbed the last available seat.

I heard he was standing in the open doorway of a store and some little girl spun him around and walked in.

Bro, you hopes he fails??! HOPES?!! No hoping necessary my friend. Regardless of Cole's report, there's no question this man will either be cut before training camp is over, or at the very most, land as a back up off the bench. There is absolutely no way in hell GRob's football iq all of sudden takes a huge spike and that fire under his ass gets any hotter.

This dude is toast T-O-A-S-T..

I trust Kromer's evaluation here. Sounds like a move that needed to be made. The pick and the cap space are nice all things considered.

I think that more describes Boudreau. He interviewed GRob/Jake Matthews at the combine and also attended their Pro Days.

I don't really believe Fisher made a habit of ramrodding the Rams carefully constructed draft board. If there was table pounding from the coaches end it was probably from our OL coach.

Whenever the coach has it written in his contract that he has final say over draft choices, then I have to believe that the tough choices come down to the coaches okay. I bet Fisher supported and backed Boudreau 100%.

Plus when given the choice he prefers the more athletic player.

We shall see.....:notsure: :unsure::popcorn:

I loved the picks this year, but I mostly hated the Fisher picks. I believe in balance. Fisher was all about athleticism. It works on defense but not necessarily on offense. GRob, Quick, and Tavon, weren't my kind of players. I never would have picked them. I argued against taking Tavon for months prior to that draft. I didn't think GRob had enough time in pass defense to merit a top selection, and the only thing I heard about Quick was one NFL personnel guy said that he was as dumb as a box of rocks.

Offense takes more than just athleticism to be affective. It's about precise technique and intelligence. Things like arm length, hands, and body weight matter, being able to understand the offense and your role in it matters, and being a football player who just didn't dominate college due to monster athleticism matters.

train

I'd say The Rams franchise from the past !!
Smith, Ty Hill ??
Who was the DE from Nebraska?[/QUOTE]

Carricker, but none of them were second overall picks in one of the best top fifteen in decades. That draft was loaded and they missed on number two? When you draft that high it better be a no doubter.
