Vegas, you bringing your darts? Can I bring mine on the plane? Never tried before, but I never check a bag..always carry on

After your post, I checked. Can't carry darts on the plane , but I won't be in a hurry, so I'm gonna' check my bag.

Was hoping a local (ROD member) would know a good darts pub.

I don't play any more, especially against people who own their own darts, so I don't know of a good pub. Sorry.

You were well on your way to a "like" until you asked that stupid question !!!
Come on now... that was more of a rhetorical question than a real one. Plastic tips are a freaking arcade game.

Wait a minute - isn't the pub we are getting together in before the game an Irish Pub? Aren't dart boards mandatory like Guiness, Harp, and Bushmills?

Correct, I've got some in my house somewhere under some cobwebs. I'd probably have to yell "fore" before I tossed one today.

Morgan street brewery, in the riverfront and thus stumbling distance to the hotels, has darts and good beer. Not sure if they are real darts or not.

If not then they don't have darts - they have a silly noise maker.

I emailed the St Louis Dart Shop to see if they had any suggestions.

So, anybody nailed down a place to meet Saturday for those interested in getting this party started? Do you think the Tigin would be a good starting point then go from there?

Seems to be quite a few places around it too. I thought we had talked about Ballpark Village but I really don't care where we meet up. We can always veer off on another path.

I'm good with anywhere not too far away from the central hub where we are staying. Ballpark Village is within walking distance as well right?

Hey, I even found my darts today. I literally had to put Nevr-dull on them to rub the rust off of them.

I would suggest we start at Tigin's Irish Pub in the Hampton Inn. It's a good close meet up spot. Have a few while everyone gathers, then we can move on.

I'm just not a downtown guy so, without better advice, we can either head towards The Landing, which is close and will have music etc, or ballpark village which is further, 3/4 mile, but newer and will also have music.

There is only uber black and no lyft.

Any suggestions since you're way more familiar with the area?

From the hotels, ballpark village is walking distance. There are other places too.

We might just keep it simple and pick 1 place (perhaps a hotel lobby) to meet do some intros and such.

Or that pub ramzfanz suggests, to meet up.
