Which team do you think did the best in the first round over the last 3 years? How about the worst?

Carolina only had 3 picks but they were high quality picks. And Seattle was surprisingly poor.

What's interesting is the vast majority of teams have at least one bust. There's maybe 4 or 5 who don't.

Actually the Rams are looking pretty good for the past three years compared to everyone else.

I would probably give the edge, overall, to Carolina

Cleveland and Chicago busted hard IMO. Cleveland had Phil Taylor and he's not even that great, and Mingo has potential but looked awful last season, and Trent and Weeden were both busts. Chicago only has Kyle Long and two busts. Shea is the worst 4-3 DE in the league and Carimi is on his 3rd team.

Carolina dominated. Cam Newton, Luke Kuechly, and Star Lotulelei? That's killing it. 2 Pro Bowlers and a future Pro Bowler. Star is crazy good.

Think Jets got a great thing going there, actually. Wilkerson and Richardson are both elite studs. Coples is a really talented player who came on at the end of the season after his injury and did some work against teams, it took some time but he was a scary player. Same with Milliner, who really turned into a top 15 corner in the last 5-6 games. If they can keep that up all next season, they will have had an amazing draft.

Minnesota got great value on all their picks. Except Ponder, of course.

Going to briefly mention SF for their *puke* good work in getting Reid and Smith. Jenkins was a bust though.

Obviously I feel as if the Rams had great drafts, but I think they actually did. No busts, we landed Quinn, an elite player obviously, Brockers is one of the better DTs in the league and he anchors a terrific run defense and will only get better since he was raw, Ogletree is already a playmaking stud and developed consistency near the end of the season. If he keeps that up he will be one of the best OLBs in the league. Obviously Austin is one of, if not the most explosive players in the league and after the Colts game he made plays consistently in the games he played in. I expect him to turn into a more reliable player instead of a boom or bust one, but he looks to be a pretty good pick so far.

The new front office is solid, the Rams have come a long way. Hopefully, this year will be the icing on the cake...
