Remind me to look at both of your movie ratings with skepticism.
Fair enough, but I'm a bit of an Arnold fanboy. I like all of his movies for some odd reason. Yes, even Twins.
But Conan was a good movie, IMO. It didn't have bad acting, or bad cinematography, nor was it a bad story.

Overruled.

What is best in life?

Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure the acting was horrible(sorry -X-) and I still giggle when Conan says "vimmin" instead of women but come on, the above quote alone raises it above the worst category. And yes, I obviously have no taste either. :sneaky:

Bad acting? Puh-lease. Look at Conan channeling his inner Laurence Olivier.

Video removed by owner. :( This will make us all feel better though. :)

Yeah, the "Owner" of that video didn't allow embedding on other sites. Like he owns the rights or something. lol. You can click the link in the video to watch it on YouTube though. I'd put the link, but it just turns it into a video on here.

That bastard! Watched it. Went to see Conan the Barbarian at a drive-in(remember those?) for the first time with a friend of mine. The movie started and then the screen went blank. We got our money back. That should have been a sign not to see the damn thing but I did eventually see it at a theater.

Arnold always makes me laugh even when it's probably not intended. I have great respect for the guy. He was an unknown from Austria who made something of himself, became a champion body builder, a movie star and eventually a governor. America loves a success story.

My favorite quote is "You shouldn't drink and bake."

Hmm...if we're talking cheesy B-rated movies, you can't go wrong with Sharknado. Because sharks are just flat out awesome. Anaconda (the one with Ice-T) was another one that I couldn't help but watch.
Wasn't it Ice Cube in Anaconda. I watched it again recently, it's an enjoyable film.

Death race 2000.

It's amazing, it has everything. If you haven't seen it, go and see it seriously. I can't even begin how amazingly awful it is and how much it makes it a must see. The plot is really something else.
I definitely enjoy the names. Frankenstein, Machine Gun Joe, Nero the Hero, Calamity Jane, etc. The original is definitely better than the remake. I don't even recall the remake having a copilot. I could be wrong though.

Penelope Pitstop, The Gruesome Twosome, Dick Dastardly and Muttley, Professor Pat Pending LOL

I still sadly enjoy the movie BeastMaster.
I don't know what it is about that movie, but I just dig it. So cheese, much good.

Another guilty pleasure: Havoc.
It's this movie that features rich LA kids trying to act super gangster. The problem being, the movie takes itself way too seriously. I just really get a kick out of it though. And there's some Anne Hathaway boob, so that was an added bonus.

This is Spinal Tap is not only a great movie but an historic one in that it established the mocumentary as a film genre.

Because I was such a fan of the books I thought Conan on screen went Hollywood and ran away from the essential nature of the stories.

A widely panned movie that I loved was The Hudsucker Proxy.

Whew, Anaconda was pretty freaking bad. I remember seeing that when I was in 7th grade. Even then I knew what I was watching was ridiculous.

I also offer the following:

And a real Cinemax classic:

And last but not least...
