This was a tough one.
ED was one of the greatest ever.
I chose Faulk, because he's the most complete RB I've ever seen.
Most players are good at some things and just ok at others.
MF was one of the few players, that was great at everything.

Here's the BEST List:
1) Faulk
2) Dickerson
3) Deacon Dan Towler ( or you can make him a FB!)
4) Tank Younger
5) Dick Bass
6) Also at FB- Hoerner!!

Ugh. Tough to not choose ED as he was the best pure runner of the bunch, but Marshall was quite simply...the best football player I have have ever seen. Advantage Faulk.

Yeah, I don't know how you don't choose Faulk. He was literally the greatest football player ever. Ladanian Tomlinson is 2nd IMO. Because he was basically another Faulk.

You nailed it, Faceplant.

Faulk was the best football player I've ever seen, as well.

And that's really saying something, coming from this 73 year old Ram fan.

Voted Faulk, but honestly, depends on what offense we're trying to run here.

Dickerson was a better runner, that's for sure.

Faulk was better at everything else.

That was my thought as well; depends on the offense.

But... Faulk fits not matter what we want to do. Most dangerous player ever in his prime.

Dickerson was awesome ... but Marshall Faulk was at another level with the things he could do.

I picked ED because i'm assuming that this is to create an entire offense of Rams all time greats and there'll be plenty of studs with hands...so i want the best pure runner and that's ED.
If the defense neutralizes my QB and receivers i want Dickerson in there. I don't think Faulk was quite as good in that role.
Faulk was the Swiss Army knife. ED was the Samurai sword.

I chose Faulk, partially because I've never seen ED play, but partially because even on run plays that guy defied the laws of physics. Simply inhuman. His ability to use a teammate as an obstacle the defense had to work around instead of having them actually engage as a blocker stuck with me the most. Having never seen Dickerson play, I admit I may be wrong.

I love MF but I cannot pick against ED. Faulk had a lot of other talent around him that Dickerson never had and while I respect the opinions that say Faulk was the best they ever saw I do not think he was the best ever player.

Interesting side note, Tavon Austin wouldn't make either the all time RB list, of the all time WR list, but it might be better to have him on the all time team, instead of overkill with 6 great WRs or 4 great RBs.
