And Next LB Don Davis:

Man, forgot about Mel Owens. He was a stud often overshadowed by guys like Youngblood on that D.
Roman Phifer was my favorite Ram for quite some time. Great player named after Roman Gabriel?....nothing to dislike there.

Isiah Robertson! One of my all-time favorite RAMS Line Backers. He was always around the ball! Here he is ready to scope up Foreman's fumble! :)

This is one shot Robertson might have had second thoughts on but I’ll give him credit for even attempting to get in front of the great Earl Campbell!

Sadly, this is what he is most known for. Sure he got trucked by that beast, but so did everyone else. People think IR was a bad player or something because of this play, FAR from the truth.

For the Record the Oilers did not score a touchdown in that game and the Rams won 10-6! Another tidbit forgotten.

Just to hit on some high notes of these players careers!!
* Isiah Robertson
isiah_1b.jpg

In his 8 seasons with the Rams played in 111 games and in his 18 INT's he had 266 yards and 2 TD's w/ a long of 76 Yds. he did have 2 Fumbles but he had 11 FR's for 35 Yds. and 1 TD! I find it a little odd I can't find any record of his Sacks or Tackles! But, again, he did make 6 Pro Bowls!

* LB - Mel Owens - 1981-89
Owens4.jpg

" Something about this photo I like!! Can't put my finger on it!!"
In Mel's 9 seasons with the Team he played in 122 games and had 4 INT's for 37 Yds. w/ a long of 26 Yds. he also had 9 FR's and 26.5 sacks! ( I can't find his Tackle record either!)

* LB Roman Phifer - 1991-1998
Phifer3.jpg

he played in 120 games in his 8 seasons with the Rams and had 7 INT's for 103 Yds. w/ a long of 41 Yds. he also had 3 FF's / 2 Fumbles / and 4 FR's with 16.5 sacks and 591 Tackles and 105 assists he was a tackling machine! ( Then the Douche-Bag had to go to the Cheatriot's and win 3 SB's!) BUT he wasn't part of the GSOT!

* OG/LB - Jack Finlay - 1947-1951
Jacj Finlay _17 Strobe-Washington+.jpg

I wish I could find more photos of him, because he was on the Rams 1950's Championship Team!
He played in 55 games and had 3 FR's in his 5 seasons with the Rams.

* LB/Center - Bob Griffin - 1953-1957
Griffin-1955.jpg

In his 5 seasons with the Team he played in 44 games and had 1 INT for 20 Yds. / 2 FR's / and 1 Safety.

* LB - Dan Currie - 1965-1966
Currie1.jpg

Not much on Dan, in 28 games he had 1 FR. ( I don't have any idea what Ball Park this photo was taken at!)

* LB - Don Davis - 2001-2002
Don_Davis_1.jpg

In his 2 seasons he played in 28 games and had 1 INT for 29 Yds./1 FF / 1 FR / and 61 TKL's w/ 15 assists.

* LB - David ' Mr. Irrelevant' Vobora - 2012-2014
Vobora3.jpg

He was Relevant in his 3 seasons with the Team. In his 34 games he had 2 passes defended / 1 FF / 2 sacks and 57 TKL's / and 23 assists.

* LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar - 2012-2014
Dunbar1c.jpg

" I personally loved this guy!" The Team seemed to pick it up a notch when he was in the game!! He was a well respected Leader!
In his 3 seasons he played in 44 games and had 2 INT's for 63 Yds. / a long of 42 Yds. / 4 PD's / 2 FF's / 4.5 sacks and 150 Tackles w/ 37 assists.
Again a Great "D" Leader!!

GO RAMS!!

Some great players wore #58. Robertson was my favorite, but I loved Roman Phifer as well. Soooo close to making GSOT, but then he left and beat us with the Cheatriots. You'd think that would make me dislike him. (n)

Robertson is one of my all time favorite Rams. Matter of fact, just bought an Autographed Jersey of his. Like someone mentioned, he ALWAYS seemed to be all around the ball/play.

Corey Littleton has proven to be a play-maker on special teams, and in week 16 of 2017, had a great game against Tennessee, playing for Mark Barron, with an interception and this sack of Marcus Marriota.

Mel Owen's was my favorite when he was a Ram. I picked 58 for my high school number (El Toro High). I was an inside backer though.
