We'll start with he Older players again today! HB Vitamin Smith ( 1949-1953) He also wore #77, I couldn't find any photos of him in #47, do you have any!?

he played in 5 play-off games, and had aPR for a TD in the 1952 Play-offs. He also had an had an 85 yard PR for a TD in 1949.

He Set an NFL Record with 3 KR's for TD's in 1950! That Record stood until 1967.

Next DB/HB Carver Shannon ( 1962-64)

He was pretty good on PR's & KR's

Next up CB Charlie Stukes (1973-74)

he played in 28 games in his 2seasons with us

He had 12 Int's in his career with the Rams, and 7 of those came in 1974

He played in 3 play-off games and had 1 int.

Last for me CB LeRoy Irvin: (1980-89)

He played in 2 Pro-Bowls in '85 &'86

And he's a 2 time All Pro, 1981 & '86

He played in 143 games in his 10 years with the Team

He played in 11 play-off games, where he had a total of 4 int's for 149 yards

He also scored 11 TD's on Defense

He was one of the good ones!!

McNeil played in32 games for the Rams in his 2 seasons.

He had 10 INT's for 164 Yds. and 2 TD's w/ a Long of 75 Yds. and he had 1 fumble / 2 FR's and 105 TKL's w/ 14 assists.
Thoughts on McNeil!!?

Ok! I still can't find any of him wearing #47!

In his 5 seasons with the Rams he played in 59 games and had 209 Rush att's. for 669 Yds. and 7 TD's w/ a long of 31 Yds. an average of 3.2 per. He also had 59 rec.'s for 1025 Yds. and av. of 17.4 and 12 TD's w/ a long of 67 Yds.!

In Shannon's 3 seasons he played in 38 games and had 30 PR's for 213 Yds. and 46 KR's for 1265 Yds. and 1 TD.

* CB - Charlie Stukes - 1973-1974

Again, sorry no new photos here either!
In Charlie's 2 seasons with the Rams he played in 28 gamws and had 12 INT's for 194 Yds. w/ a long of 42 Yds. / 1 Fumble / and 2 FR's.

* CB - Leroy Irvin - 1980-1989

Irvin went to 2 Pro Bowls in his 10 seasons with the team. he played in 143 games and had 34 INT's for 654 Yds. and 5 TD's w/ a long of 81 Yds. he also nad 18 Fumbles and 13 FR's for 69 Yds. and 1 TD. he also 1.5 Sacks!

Here he is w/ from left to right, Johnnie Johnson - Nolan Cromwell Gary Green(?) " I'm trying to read it off of the photo!!"

* CB Marcus Roberson - 2014-Present

Roberson is shaping up pretty well ...

In his 25 games , over the last 2 seasons, he's had 1 INT. for 18 Yds. ..

.. and 7 Passes defended / 1 FF's/ 3 TKL's and 4 assists.

He's doing well!!

* TE - Billy Bajema - 2009-2011

In his 3 seasons he played in 45 games ..

.. and had 49 Targets w/ 31 rec's for 310 Yds. a 10 Yard average and 2 TD's!

Just busy, I don't have time for ROD much with my new job. I check in every few days and may comment every once in a while, but not a lot. I should get more time here during the season though.

Cody McElroy is a darkhorse candidate for tight end. Certainly one to watch in training camp. He's in good hands with Tight End Savant Sean McVay.

LeRoy Irvin is one of my favorite Ram players of all time. He always had a knack for making big plays on defense. One of the best corners the Ram organization ever had.
