This 'could' be considered a pretty 'Boring' Number the best man on today's list is a Kicker. But what a kicker her was!

But I'll start with, at #14 WR Wendell Tucker: ( 1967-70)

wendell_tucker1.jpg

In 4 seasons w/ the Rams he had 26 starts. He had 57 receptions for 983 Yds. and 11 TD's an aver. of 17.2 w/ a long of 93 Yds.!* he played in 1 playoff game.
* 93 Yards was the Longest Reception in the League in 1969!

NEXT UP, THEEE KICKER!! Jeff Wilkins: (1997-2007)

Wilkins1.jpg

" 11 years, and 171 games!"
Wilkins9.jpg

" Anyone who goes that long with a Team deserves some credit!"
jeff-wilkins.jpg

He completed 265 of 328 Field goal Attempts, 80.8%.

wilkins3.jpg
wilkens4.jpg

He also made 428 of 429 extra point attempts. only missing 1 for 99.8%

Wilkins4.jpg

It can be hard to state the value of a Good Kicker, But Jeff was Great!
Wilkins5.jpg

He was #1 in the League in point scored in 2003 w/ 163 points!

Wilkins8.jpg

And he didn't just stand around on returns!

Wilkins6.jpg
He was also #1 in the league in 2003 in FG's made w/ 39!

Wilkins7.jpg
He went to the playoff's 5 times with the Rams, in them he scored 17 FG's and 26 XP's!

Wilkins10.jpg

And he was appreciated by one and all!

NEXT UP, WR Keenan Burton: (2008-09)

keenan_burton1.jpg
In 22 games he only got 7 starts.

Burton2.jpg
He had 38 receptions for 425 Yds. and 1 TD. an aver. of 11.2 w/ a long of 30 Yds.

keenan-burton3.jpg

He had to play in the "Darkest of Years!"

NEXT UP, A QB I have to mention Shaun Hill: (2014)

Hill1.jpg
OK, He was only with us for 9 games, and had 8 starts! and a record of 3-5-0.

Hill2.jpg
Passing he went 145 of 229 for 1657 Yds. and 8 TD's w/ 7 Int's a 63.3% comp. rate. and he was sacked 18 times.

ShaunHill3.jpg
He did rush 10 times for 10 Yds. and a TD w/ a long of 9 Yds.

shaun-hill4.jpg

I for one do not understand why he was Yanked so quickly in favor of Davis! JMHO!

NEXT UP, Our Future, QB Sean Mannion: ( 2015 Rookie)

Mannion1.jpg

He looks pretty good so far!
sean-mannion2.jpg

I hope he works out well, But If our #1 and #2 QB's work out, who knows what will happen with him!

That's it for me today, Anyone have any Players, gif's, comments, memories you would like to add!!

GO RAMS!!

Jeff Wilkins has a worse career kick % then Zuerlein and everybody loves him.

But that's none of my business.

Jeff Wilkins may not have had the leg power but he made some clutch kicks in his career.

The play I keep thinking of when I hear Jeff Wilkins is the onside kick recovery he made in the 4th Quarter of the 2003 Divisional Playoff Game against Carolina.

Now that's a football player. ^

I have just a few more things to add to complete the Stat History on some of these Players! And some New " Special" Photos!

* WR - Wendell Tucher - 1967-1970
wendell_tucker1.jpg

In his 43 games with the Rams he also had 6 PR's for 40 Yds. w/ a long of 11 Yds./ a 6.7 Aver. and 11 KR's for 242 Yds. w/ a long of 37 Yds. / a 22.o Aver. / 1 Fumble and 1 FR. In his 1 Post Season game he had 3 Rec's for 23 Yds. / a 7.7 Aver. w/ a long of 9 Yds.

Big Play Tucker Coach Allen.jpg

This is a diagram of a Play Coach George Allen used to show oFF a Game winning play by Tucker!

Wendell Tucker and 1969 Rams.jpg

And this is a photo of Tucker w/ his 1969 Team Mates!

* WR - Keenan Burton - 2008-2009
Burton2.jpg

In addition to the stats you've seen for his 74 Targets, Burton also had 3 Rushes for 8 Yds./a long of 5 Yds. w/ a 2.7 Aver.

* QB - Mike Pagel - 1991-1993
PagelMike1991.jpg
In his back-up roll to Everett he connected on 22 of 56 Att's/ 39.3% comp./ for 272 Yds./ 3 TD's w/ 3 INT's/ a long of 30 Yds. and a 4.9 Aver. w/ a QBR of 50.6 / 1 Fumble and 1 FR.

NOW!
** QB - Sean Mannion - 2015-Present
Mannion2x.jpg
He was a 3rd Round pick # 89 overall by the Rams Last Year and he's performed well!!

Mannion4x.jpg
In 1 game played he had 6 of 7 completed Pass attempts / 87.7%/ for 31 Yds. w/ a long of 11 Yds./ a 4.4 Aver. and a QBR of 92.36!

sean-mannion3x.jpg

He's really performed well in all of his Pre-Season work! I think the Team may be tempted to keep 3 QB's this Year!! OR! They could get a good Trade for him!!

*** I have an Honorable Mention, NO PHOTO!
* QB - Ron Smith - He was a 10th Round Draft pick by the Rams in 1964, #131 Overall. And he never played a down. No Stats!?
