So have we , my sister got remarried about five years ago in Las Vegas , and on the way home , the wife and I made a few detours , first stop was to see the Bonnie and Clyde car , Then we stopped at Joplin Missouri to look at Bonnie and Clyde's hideout
Bonnie and Clyde had many hideouts , but this was one of the more famous ones , it was where one of their big shootouts took place and killed two police officers
Then we stopped at Dexfield Park just out side of Dexter Iowa , where another big shootout with the police occurred , this is where Clyde's brother Buck , and his wife Blanche were captured , Bonnie , Clyde and W.D. Jones were able to escape through a corn field , although they got pretty shot up
Years ago , they used to rent out that apartment in Joplin , Missouri , I tried to talk my wife into renting it for a week , but she didn't want anything to do with it , now don't get me wrong , my wife is cool and all , but she always said , if we were going to take a week or two off for vacation , it was going to be some place with a ocean and a beach , and that just wasn't Joplin Missouri.......................lol
But then about 7 or 8 years ago , Joplin had that real bad tornado that destroyed like half the town , so they had housing shortages , so now people actually live in the apartment , and so they no longer rent it out on weekly bases
