Just because another member brought up All-Time Best Players At QB-WR and RB. I thought I might put up MY Version of what I think the Rams All Time O and D Lines would look like. Here it is in a Depth chart form:

O-Line;

ORT - Slater and Cowan
ORG - Scibelli and Harrah
Center - Iman - Saul and D. Smith
OLG - Mack - K. Hill and Newberry
OLT - Pace and Pankey

D-Line;

RDE - Robustelli - Lundy - Dryer - Little and Wistrom
RDT - Grier and Farr
LDT - OLsen - Brooks - Donald
LDE - Jones and Youngblood

I limited this to 12 men on each side of the Ball, anyone you would Add!? Subtract!?
Thoughts and comments welcome!!

On another site I posted this as my starters.

LT-Pace
LG- Newberry
C- Smith
RG- Harrah
RT- Slater

DE- Jones
DT- Olsen
DT- Brooks
DE- Youngblood

Didn't get into alternates that's just my starters. I don't know if another team can match those lines.

Good lists Dave. I might sneak Timmerman in there over Newberry (close). I think you need to find room for Quinn over Wistrom. And Brockers and Farr are pretty close.

I was originally trying to keep the List down, Like, as if it where for a 54 man Roster. But I couldn't do it!! While your suggestion have some merit, I'll stick with my choices!;)

Tough to argue with any of this... except Tom Mack over Newberry.

Far too much love for Tom Newberry, he was good, but IMO, Kent Hill was better and Tom Mack was the best left guard and is in the hall of fame.

Yeah I think you could put 2 or 3 guards opposite Dennis Harrah and nobody would really have a problem with them. I don't know however you could pick anybody over Pace, Slater, Harrah and Smith.

Great list, 51.

Except for...

You've got Scibelli ahead of Harrah?

And a healthy Quinn should be ahead of all 5 of your RDE's.

Sorry.

Kinda... Lol.

Like I said above, I think opposite Harrah you could put 3 or even 4 guys and many people wouldn't have a problem. Mack, Hill, Newberry heck even Timmerman would get some votes.

Another terrific list, OldSchool.

Except for...

Tom Mack is clearly superior to Newberry. He just was. Den-the-coach nailed it.

And in all fairness, we should call C as a 3 way tie per 51's list. Lol.

Yes, but Mack was clearly the best, not that I watched much of him and believe me I loved everyone of those guys.

Funny story about Kent Hill, Jack Youngblood once said to him, "If you could put my head on your body then we would have something." And Hill responded: "Why would you want to ruin a perfect body with your face?"

LT....Pace
LG...Mack
C....Saul
RG...Harrah

I'm not so sure I would put Quinn ahead just yet! Little was a "Killer" at RDE in his day, so was Wistrom. And Robustelli and Lundy are Both in the Hall of Fame!

Quinn is better than Wistrom and Little, Dave. Granted, he needs to post some more good years. But talent-wise, he is a bit better than Little.

In making up my mind I went purely by Cold Hard Stats. I Love Quinn, BUT he's still inches behind my picks at this point! EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE!(y):D Except of course my Rams Fandom!:mrburnsevil:
